Riddlehawk ran back into the clearing where the fight with Riverclan had just ended. His gold eyes darted about franctically, looking for Rainpaw. Dappledfrost had said something about him being in trouble and he was anxious. With his mate injured and his apprentice missing and injured he wasn't in the best state. He'd be violent wall against anything that dared get in his way. He spotted his apprentice, running over, licking the apprentice between the ears. Rainpaw! I gotta get you back to camp. Can you walk or will I have to carry you? The big tom asked him, flicking his tail.

Everything hurt...Rainpaw was laying on his side, a strong, throbbing pain shooting from his leg throughout the rest of his body. The only thought in his mind was how was he not dead? He had a pounding headache and it hurt to open his eyes, even the sunlight seeming to hurt. He stirred slightly at his mentors voice, opening his eyes, which were cloudy and unfocused. "Ri-Riddlehawk....?" He spoke hoarsely, blinking in confusion. "Wh....Why are there two of you.....?" He blinked as his vision spun and he saw two warriors before him.

Riddlehawk shook his head. There's not two of me Rainpaw. I'll carry you back to camp. Try and stay still, alright? He said. He picked his apprentice up by the scruff and the big tom managed to keep him up off the ground as he headed back towards camp.

Rainpaw closed his eyes, his mentor's voice echoing loudly in his head. Why was he talking so loud? Or was it just him? Something was wrong, Rainpaw knew that, because these sensations and dizzy spells weren't normal. Not to mention the pain in his leg was becoming so much he was starting to lose feeling. He sighed, trying to do as his mentor said, pretty much too tired to do anything else.

Riddlehawk ran back to camp, carrying his apprentice with him, he pleaded silently to Starclan to let Rainpaw get better.
