Grooming, waiting for someone to talk to...

Leopardfire sat in the Warriors Den grooming herself. Her pelt was almost clean and she was wishing for some company. She looked up when a cat entered the den.

A cat did walk in the warrior's den. It was the soon-to-be elder, KestralSpot. He was different from most cats, more like all, since he had no fur at all.

His skin was rather tan, a darker tan spot on his shoulder-blades, and a pink-ish one near his rear. He didn't care what any cat thought, he ignored all the insults since he had no fur, since his ears were rather large and triangular, more than usual, and the edge of his tail to his rear had odd folds.

He figured that all cats had that, but they never noticed, since of their ruffly fur. Anyways, he entered, quietly, although his paw slipped which is probably why LeopardFire noticed him.

He grinned, looking like a Chesire cat.

"Hey ya' Girl. How be ya?"

He asked, in his ""CowBoy"" Accent.

"Hey ya' Girl. How be ya?"

Leopardfire gave a fake groan. It was Kestralspot. "Horrible" She told him with a grin. She stood up and shook moss out of her pelt. "You?" She asked before she turned her attetion back to her grooming. She had been hunting this morning and her spotted tan pelt was covered in dust. She liked dirt, just not all over her pelt.

The tom gave a snort.

"I'mma be fine."

He smiled warmly at the she-cat, walking closer to her. He could tell she was aggrivated with the dust, so he decided to lick her flank in smooth licks.

He knew that it was probably awkward, but he might as well.

"Ah.. It feels quite good out there, don't ye think?"

He tried to make conversation, saying those words in between licks.

Riddlehawk slipped into the Warriors den, Thunderclan's deputy flicking his tail. He limped over to where an odd gap in the wall let in a ray of sunshine and filtered onto a nest. He laid down, curling his good paw under him and letting his lame one sit out, seeing as he couldn't bend it. The one eyed, scarred, and massive tom stretched langourously, flicking his tail. The usually calm and laid back tom had been a bit tense lately, for reasons he never talked to anyone about. It seemed like memories were flooding back to him, and they were ones that made him want to go back to his past personality. The murderous tom that had been locked away long ago wanted back out. One wouldn't think it by looking at him, having seen how he calmly padded back from Riverclan back on that day when Froststorm had ripped out his eye, the day when he had killed Froststorm. How he so calmly spoke to the tom who had threatened his life for days and weeks and months on end. but no, Riddlehawk's past as an assassin for Bloodclan as a young Warrior was haunting him more constantly. But I wouldn't worry about that. He wasn't the same cat he was then. He had put his past behind him. He hadn't told anyone about his past. Every cat had a dark secret or two, and being deputy didn't make him an exception. He wasn't the same cat he was from back then..............Was he?

Leopardfire sifted as Kestralspot started grooming her as well.

"Ah.. It feels quite good out there, don't ye think?"

"Yes. I like it out there" She said, nodding. She was ok with Kestrelspot helping her, though it was slight awkward. It got the dirt off. She glaced up as the deputy entered and layed down in his nest. "Hello Riddlehawk" She said to him.

Mousefur trotted into the den after Riddlehawk not sure what to say. He had been so different lately and she wasn't sure if this was the tom she had fallen in love with. She wasn't even sure if this was Riddlehawk any more. She stood at the entrance so confused. "Riddlehawk...?", she whimpered scared to death that something had gone wrong with the Riddlehawk she had known.

Riddlehawk glanced up as two cats said his name. Leopardfire and.....Mousefur. He nodded his greeting to Leopardfire and then focused in on Mousefur. The tip of his tail twitched and he got up with a slight groan of pain. His injuries from the battle earlier in the winter were just now scarring over, the muscle underneath tugging painfully at times. He licked between her ears and on her cheek, light purring as he did so. "Hullo, love." he said. Out of all the cats in the clan, she was the only one who could keep him calm when he got riled.

KeastralSpot could tell that LeopardFire was getting tense, just by how her fur was moving; he was being awkward.

He sighed, and stopped, his gaze soon trailing over to RiddleHawk; the scarred deputy.

"'Ey, RiddleHawk."

His gaze soon moved over to MouseFur.

"'Ello Mousefur."

A slight purr left her throat at the touch his lick provided. He was changing into something else and not knowing who or what itwas scared her to death. "Hello love how are you?," she asked warily. Once upon a time she had wanted kits with Riddlehawk, but with the sweet loving protective Riddlehawk. Not this confused tom. She thought over the names they had discussed and out of all of them she loved the name Turtlekit most. Hoping to lift his spirits she whispered and giggled at the same time the names they had come up with forgetting a few. "Turtlekit, Ripplekit, Riddlekit, remind me of the others.", she purred hoping to lift his spirits.

"Just fine, love." He said back to her, a smile coming back to his face when she whisper giggled the names of kits to him. They made him happy, made him happy to have a purpose. That he had something to look forward to every day. Mousefur. "Cactuskit, Dustkit, Brokenkit." He murmered back to her with a soft smile. He flicked his tail.

Leopardfire looked over at they. "Cautuskit? That kit must have sharp little teeth" She told them. She olny relize how wierd that sounded AFTER she said it. If a cat could blush she would have.

KestralSpot snorted, his big ear flicking.

"Eyy, ya guy's gonna miss big ol' me?"

He grinned, his fur-less tail tip twitching. He knew he would miss all these cats, although he didn't know them that well.
