RunningPath had padded out of the nursery, Carekit close behind. She saw her dart in the direction of the Medicine Cat's den, which didn't surprise her.

She purred softly, her gaze fixing around the camp. She didn't know what to do, since it was usually boring here.

Starkit padded out of the woods, a small vole in his mouth. He spotted RunningPath and padded over. H-y he mumbled through his catch. He had a stuttering problem that was getting better with time, but combining it with a mouthful of vole and it was an amusing odd little sight. He purred, flicking his tail.

She had smiled, glancing over at Starkit.

"Hey!"

She purred.

"How's you?"

Good! He said, dropping the vole. Very good. It's a good day for hunting. The voles were kinda active. He said.

She smiled, her gaze shifting to the sky. The breeze blew, which made her fur shake. She looked at him again, and smiled.

"That's great."

You think so? he asked, pricking his ears as he heard a sparrow burst from a bush. He didn't pay much attention to anything else.He was towards the edge of camp, not really noticable. That's when he felt something pounce on him. He turned and his eyes widened. Ashpaw? She was supposed to be dead! He purred, worrying her ear gently Ash! He said happily.

Ashpaw had wandered a little too close to their border with Shadowclan when she picked up a scent she knew too well. She had followed it here, unknowinly into Shadowclan's territory. She pounced upon her younger brother, purring but skittered back a bit when she seen Runningpath. She pinned her ears back, looking a little scared. Star! she said happily, still looking uneasily at Runningpath.

RunningPath looked at AshPaw, her head slightly tilted. She was now confused, wondering how they knew each other.

"You guys know each other..?"

She was confused now, but also worried.

Starkit looked at his adopted mother, rubbing against her side. She's my sister. I thought she died. He said.

Ashpaw nodded, a few feet from Runningpath, ready to bolt at a moment's notice. She felt a little uneasy, glancing around.

She purred at Starkit, and licked the top of his forehead.

"Ah.. That's understandable. I think i see a resemblance.."

Her ears flickered, watching the young she-cat look uneasy.

"A sister of his, is welcome, at least to me."

She shot her a smile.

Ashpaw smiled back, her pale blue eyes looking at Starkit softly. I missed you Star. But I might wanna get back. But I'll be back. she said, licking her brother on the cheek.

You better be back, Ashy. I don't want to have to come find you. he said, the little black and white flecked tom, licking his sister back and watching her pad away into the bushes.

RunningPath nodded her a farewell, and looked at Starkit. She purred.

"Feel good?"

Her tail tip twitched, her paws scuffling slightly.

Starkit nodded, purring. Yep. I had a good hunt and then I found out my sister's okay. I feel very very good. he said, rubbing his head on her shoulder.

She purred, and licked his forehead gently.

"Great!"

Her tail wrapped around his body, holding him close, even though he was larger than a kit now, but she was going to still hold him close.

Starkit purred, completely content. He didn't care how old he was, no matter what he wasn't gonna leave RunningPath. Well....when he got older he'd wander around camp more but he'd stay here even when she was an Elder. But he didn't think it wise to ask how long away that'd be.

RunningPath purred, glad that she got Starkit as an adopted kit, he seemed to cheer her up a lot. She held him still, her head gently resting ontop of his. Her tail tip twitched once in a while, just to show how happy she was.
