Aphrodite struggled to her paws, "Yeah," she mewed to the handsome cat. "I have to get home..." She took a few paw-steps towards the camp exit. "Ma' and Pa' are hungry." she mewed absently.

CareFeather looked at TigerStorm, and gave a brief nod. She stood up, and looked at Aphrodite.

"TigerStorm's a good cat, don't be worried bout him."

She smiled.

"I might not be a medicine cat, but I can check on you later, if ya like."

She looked at TigerStorm, as if asking if she could later.

"But I'm not going to be here later. I have to go home right now!" She mewed, her eyes darting from Tigerstorm to Carefeather. "Or Ma' and Pa' will die of hunger."

CareFeather blinked, and looked at Aphrodite.

"No. Cats die within three days from hunger, and I still think they can manage. If you are PheonixPaw's sister, then I know your father is dead, but I know that he could probably still feed himself. He seems capable, and I'm sure your mother can help, since she probably has perfect sight and hearing."

She soothed, taking a few steps to Aphrodite, and licked her ear, trying to comfort her, and get her to calm down.

"No, my mother has been blind since when she was around my age. She can't hunt, my father wont move from his nest and I am the only one keeping them alive!" she cried, "I must get home or they will die!"

"I'm sure you should stay tonight, and tomorrow, then at sun-high, you can go. This might be good for them, to wake up and smell the flowers."

She purred reassuringly.

"I'm sure that they will be fine, he will figure it out, I'm sure. This really might be good for him, to realize that he has to do something, not mope around, right? Trust me."

She gave a weak smile.

Aphrodite frowned, limping to a corner in the shadows, starting to cry. She just wanted to go home! She curled up in a ball and closed her eyes, quiet sobs coming from the black and white heap of fur.

Tigerstorm padded over to the two, standing between Aphrodite and the exit. "I can't let you go yet. At least not until dawn, when I talk with your sister." He frowned, looking to her unhappily and tiredly. "You were trespassing on our territory, but it's too late to fight and I don't wish too. Just stay here for tonight, alright?" He shuffled his paws sheepishly, not knowing what else to say to the upset she-cat. "Please...it'll be alright..."

CareFeather looked at Aphrodite, and followed her. She wanted nothing more but to help.

"Listen.. at least for tonight. You can go home later on in the day, and you can go back. I know SpottedStar would allow that. SpottedStar doesn't really take prisoners either..."

She looked at TigerStorm, worry in her eyes a bit.

Aphrodite wailed softly from her corner, she felt small and vulnerable in this strange place full of strange cats. Her nose went under her paw and she mewed sadly.

CareFeather nudged the she-cat gently.

"Hey, would you like to be my friend while you're here? I can show you around, and get you some fresh-kill if you like."

She smiled, trying to be as friendly as possible.

Aphrodite stopped crying, she looked up at Carefeather and nodded. "I... Thanks." She mewed.

CareFeather smiled, and gave the she-cat a comforting lick on the ear.

"I'll be right back. Do you want a frog, lizard, or..."

She turned around at the fresh-kill pile, knowing that most of that probably didn't look apetizing to her at all.

"Um, actually..."

She turned her gaze back at the she-cat.

"How about we go hunt, TigerStorm, you, and me."

She smiled.

Tigerstorm's eyes widened, about to object. He needed sleep, he really did. But one look at the she-cat and he knew he needed to go. "O-okay, I guess that would work..." He said lightly, smiling some.
