Shadowheart staggered into camp. Her leg bloodied and her eyes torn with drops of blood. She wiped them with her paw shook her head, looking for someone to help her.

Almost at once, a brown tabby tom moved swiftly out of the warrior's den. He got to her side, and licked her ear.

"What happened, hun?"

He murmured, DirtFur's side against hers.

"ThunderClan happened. Cowspot wanted to get to the camp. He tried to provoke me but... well he tossed insults before he attacked me." She mewed, wincing at her leg.

DirtFur's claws unsheathed and sheathed again, kneading the ground. He let out a deep growl.

"I'mma shred him."

He hissed, leading her the way to SpottedStar's den.

"We must report this!"

He hissed.

She followed him, closing her eyes so she could by scent and sound and give her eyes a rest. "Yeah..." she mewed.

Leafheart peeked out of the nursery before gasping. "Shadowheart are you ok?", she asked worry straining her voice.

DirtFur looked at Leafheart.

"ThunderClan attacked. CowSpot. Next time I see him.. there will be no more of him.. except the fur in between my claws!"

He growled, the fur along his spine prickling.

Shadowheart leaned into her mate, "It's dirt fighting, aiming for eyes to blind. I was once in a place where dirty fighting had consequences." She hissed softly and coldly.

That made DirtFur's fur prickled.

"Now, I want to shred his pelt and make it my bedding!"

He spat, his paws attacking the ground, a small hole being made.

"I'mma shred him! I'mma kill him! I'mma hang his carcass in the Warrior's den!"

He growled, his fur bristling.

"NO! If you are seen on ThunderClan territory it could start a war!" She protested. "And you could get killed."

He was still messing with the ground, his black claws soon getting packed with dirt, but he didn't care. He didn't care about anything but ShadowHeart at the moment, and of course, keeping himself cool from running over to ThunderClan camp and attacking CowSpot.

"Never! It is better me killed than you!"

He protested back, his fur still prickling.

When he said he was going to shred CowSpot. he meant it. He meant every word, he would keep that promise. He would make sure that he will hang his carcass in the warrior's den, he would make sure that no other cat could harm ShadowHeart, not at all.

Shadowheart nuzzled him kindly, "I couldn't live without you." She mewed, "So please, be careful."

DirtFur nosed ShadowHeart's shoulder ever so gently.

"Don't worry. I won't even have a scratch on me, All I'll be is a brown blur!"

He purred.

She smiled gratefully, purring back at him. "Okay love." She mewed, his fur soothing to the touch.

Leafheart frowned. "Is that all that you can do kill Dirtfur.", she sighed. Why did everything have to kill. "He was just trying to follow his orders and be loyal to his clan. Haven't you killed enought cats from Thunderclan to last you a lifetime", she growled frowning more deeply.
