Leafheart sat in the trees. Sooner or later Tigerfang would look for her and he would find her here. She was positive that he would be looking for her considering he claimed love for her. She wondered what it would do to him if he caught her with another tom??? The idea pricked interest but a rustle in the bushes stopped that thought dead.

It was Tigerfang his muscles rippled under his fur. His eyes happy when he saw Leafheart there he nuzzled her and sat down beside her "have you thought of names?" he mewed then licked her cheek and let a pur viberate through his throat.

Leafheart didn't purr in reply but she nuzzled Tigerfnag's cheek. She had no choice but to stay with this tom, for he was the father of her kits. She hadn't really told anyone who the father of her kits was and it wasn't any of their business. "Spotkit, and Lavenderkit", she reply shyly and softly.

Tigerfang smiled at the names "there lovely I think they will enjoy the names" me pured as she nuzzled him and wrapped his tail around his paws. His eyes were bright and cheery "would you like to join me in getting something to eat?" he asked feeling a bit of hungery strike him.

Leafheart blinked dazed by the question. "W-What? Oh yes please."", she said as her stomach growled a mighty warning of her hunger. She felt a mere tiny kick that made her marvel rolling around with her stomach. She wanted big strong kits that could protect her from all she feared and she hoped that they would be brave and defend their clan.

Tiger fang stayed by her side as he walked over to the fresh kill pile grabbing a squirrel for himself and waited a bit of to the side as Leafheart chose her kill. He was a lot happier now that he was with her and no was there a day to go by yet and him not have her show up in his thoughts.

Leafheart nosed through the pile looking for the vole she scented. She picked it out and went back to her original place to lay down and eat. She looked behind her every few steps to make sure Tigerfang was there. She would have liked to have taken a mate for love but she couldn't she took her mate because she was forced into it, but now afterward she knew that she needed him to protect her from anything and everything. She ate her vole quickly and began to lick her paw and swipe it over her eyes and ears, feeling to clean her bath brought. When she was done with her own face she went on to lick Tigerfang's face making sure every nook and cranny was clean.

Tigerfang was happy but wasn't to sure of how Leafheart felt for him she had seemed so scared and he wasn't sure if she truly loved him though he hoped that with the kits and over time she would start to love him and that it would work out for the best...

Leafheart continued to lick his face making sure any hidden dirt had been removed. She settles for nestling into Tigerfangs big body and relaxing. She looked like a kitten in comparison to her big mate. He wasn't as bad as she had thought. She did love him but it wasn't the love for a mate but the love of a protector.
