The clumsy black kit was sitting near the edge of camp, his eyes filling up with tears. He didn't understand why his mother would stay, her name would change. Her whole life would change.

That SpottedStar said nothing would, but she was lying. EVERYTHING would change. His life, family, name, personality, his ways in loving, everything.

His ears pinned back against his head, as he let out a little 'cooing' noise, that sounded like a dove, but was more of a cooing of pain.

"That DirtFur is no good! He makes you change, I don't like that! I wish he died!"
