Leafheart law there in her nest panting. A sharp pain in her stomach had woken her up. She wanted Tigerfang because she had something to tell him.

Tigerfang hurried over to Leafheart he didn't like leaving her for too long and he never liked her being alone for to long especially in her condition. Even though it was his fault he hoped that over time she would for give him and maybe start to love him back. He rushed over to the Queens and kits den where she had been staying for the last while. He came through the entrance and layed down beside her only after giving her an affectionate nuzzle.

Leafheart nuzzled him back and purred deeply. The pain started to ebb and even though he had done this to her he seemed to be antidote. "Don't leave, please.", she whispered burrowing deeper into his side. She knew that she had to tell him something but the courage wasn't there yet.

Mudkit watched her mother from Starclan. She flicked her little tail, her eyes flickering to the cat she identified as 'not mother.' She purred, seeing them rely on eachother so well. It made her feel at peace, knowing that she would be a good mother to her kits. To her siblings. It made her wonder a little bit, about why she wasn't down there, down with them. But she shrugged it off, knowing she was better off up here, up where she could watch over her little family.

He nuzzled her once again "don't worrie my love I will always be here for you no matter what I will make sure that no more danger could or will ever harm you again.." He mewed nuzzling her and licking her. "I know you will be a great mother and that the kits will be perfect no matter how they are" he purred.

Leafheart layed her tail on his mouth silencing him. "I am trying to tell you something.", she snapped irritably.

Tigerfang was shocked by her sudden aggression towards him. Her tail over her mouth all he did was nod to let her know that he was listing to what she had to say to him. He wondered if something had gone wrong and that she was angry that he had not been at her side. At that momment he scorned himself in his mind.

Leafheart lightened up at his silence. "I want to tell you that...... That I love you.", she said letting the words leave her tongue. And it was true She did love him. He had been right she had grown to love his strengths and weaknesses.

As big and as tough of a warrior he was he smiled he was filled with joy as the tears of happiness came down from both sides of his eyes. He pressed his face into her side, this had been his happiest moment of his life. She loved him back and thats all he could ask for..forgiveness and happiness with a she-cat he loved.

Leaffheart curled up like a kitten in his belly warm and safe. "Never leave.", she said knowing he would have to leave for his warrior duties but she would wait for him to return. But she would fight for him to stay with her forever.

Another painful spasm hit her stomach and she winced with effort trying to control the pain. She had never felt a pain like this before. This was no pain birth would afflict something had gone very wrong.

Tigerfang looked up since she was laying beside him he felt it. He looked to her wondering what he could do to help her. He looked to her noticing her pain "Are you ok my love ? should I get spottedstar???" Tigerfang tried to think because there was no medicine cat that he could turn to! oh what was he to do!

"No I am not giving birth it is just spams in my side.", she panted as the pain finally ebbed. Her breathing was shallow and rapid as she tried to prepare herself for the next spasm.
