The she-cat chuckled lightly, mostly to herself, and flicked an ear. "Just making sure. I can guess that this is hard for you too- not just them." She angled her ears in the direction the two she-cats had gone. "And I'm sorry if this sounds insensitive, but..." Might as well say it out loud. If things were going to go anywhere, she might as well try. "But I am glad for what you chose." Kiki's yellow eyes looked into his, trying to see a reaction there, be in good or bad.

Pouring Out The Secrets Of The Heart

Kiki felt relieved at his response, seeing that it wasn't one of anger. What he thought of her meant a lot to the loner she-cat. "Well, yeah. I mean, from what I saw, she wasn't good for you in the first place. And secondly, well, I didn't like being second. I'll admit I'm a little greedy." The black she-cat smile became wary. She wasn't sure if she was going about this the right way. After all, she'd never actually even thought about another cat like this. It had always been if she should kill them or if they weren't worth her time. Tigerfang was different, but in a way that she couldn't describe.

Tigerfang smiled sitting beside her "I had to move on from her she had been gone for a long time and now Lavenderkit says I am abandoning her when they abandoned me...but I am also happy with my decision " he mewed as he nuzzled her.

I Feel Him

Kiki almost bristled when the striped tom nuzzled her. Not in anger, but in shock. What was this? This moment, followed up by a new feeling in her chest. It was all unfamiliar to the she-cat. But it wasn't bad. It felt nice. The loner then recalled a memory of her kittypet parents, from the earliest days after her kitting; there was something there between them, and this was it. The black she-cat felt herself smile and let out a rusty but genuine purr, nuzzling the warrior back in return. "Me too," came the purr, her eyes narrowing in content. She now knew where she stood.

Tigerfang felt joy in him that hadn't been there in a long time. He let our a rubbling purr and inhaled the loners sent he enjoyed it mixed with his. He looked up to her "I am happy and shall visit you every day" he mewed his eyes gleamed with joy and excitement.

Kiki blinked as she purred, letting her tail find his and entwine. "You better, otherwise I'll just have to come and find you myself." The she-cat gave a light laugh and looked where their pelts touched. Black to brown, her chest fur almost matching his but not quite. "I'd hate to have one of your Clanmates find me on your territory and attack. I might kill them. And I suppose that I should refrain from hurting a cat from your Clan."

Tigerfang smiled "I will, and yes I don't think our Leader Spottedstar would take to kindly to that what with our medicine cat apprentice having a incident at moonstone but that was resolved and anyways why wouldn't I want to come see you?" he mewed as he continued nuzzling her.

Deceitful

Kiki shrugged into the nuzzle. "Oh, I don't know. Maybe you decided to go back to Leafheart. Maybe she managed to stop you from coming. Maybe you found another she-cat to cool your temper." The black loner didn't believe that any of these would actually happen, however, particularly the second one. But if the first and last one did happen, they we have to find out which one of us is the best killer." She smiled as she said it, showing that she didn't really plan on killing him. She wouldn't let him go, and besides, she couldn't see him leaving her.

Stay In My Memory

The loner flicked his shoulder with her tail, that unusually soft smile on her face still. She felt sorry for the dark tabby tom, but at the same time she knew what he was saddened by only suited to make her happier. "Then you don't have to." Kiki blinked, then rubbed against his cheek. "I don't want you to go back," she mewed.

He smiled "I don't plan on leaving anytime at all" he mewed nuzzling her back. He was happy and was done with the past he could only live in the present and could only dream of the future. "I must head back before someone notices me gone but I will come and visit when I can" he purred licking her between the ears then turning to leave he looked back before he disappeared and flicked his tail to say his goodbyes to her and away he was to camp.

What New Wonders

Kiki frowned a bit when he brought up the subject of leaving. She didn't like the idea, even if she knew there was no other alternative. The loner didn't like the idea of going any closer to the ShadowClan camp than where she was, and Tigerfang would be missed by his Clanmates if she kept him too long. So she smiled when he licked her between the ears, and meowed a goodbye as she watched him disappear into the deeper part of the woods. The she-cat waited until he was out of her range of sight and hearing, then turned to go back to her own den with a happy heart that she hadn't known had existed.
