What has happened..(Kiki/Leafheart)

Tigerfang woke up under a tree at the gorge but had walked back to shadowclan territory and had stayed there. He had stayed out here to get away for a bit, Leafheart had returned with Lavenderkit...he himself torn into two but he knew what path he wished to take. It was the one with no Leafheart she had left him and he had moved on. His daughter thought he had abandoned her but he hadn't. He sat there under the tree looking down at the pool of water wondering what would happen next then a familiar sent came to him.

Leafheart's chest ached as she tried to move on, but she couldn't. The effort made her tired and she had no idea of what to do with herself. She had brought Lavanderkit for company because she also was having a hard time adapting to a future without Tigerfang. With no clues of how to return to her normal life she had begun to walk and walk until she realized she was tracking. She was hunting down the scent she missed the most in the world, Tigerfang. She caught sight of a striped figure and sat down behind a bush nuzzling Lavanderkit.

Lavanderkit had come to the conclusion that Tigerfang was not her Daddy or he would not have left her. She had wept all night trying to get rid of the pain but it was an ever present memory in her heart that would not leave. When she smelt her father's scent her face turned into a hard mask of hate as she waited and watched for this darned Kiki.

Just Around the Corner

Kiki had been wondering the edges of ShadowClan territory almost absentmindedly. She found herself hoping to see Tigerfang again, see how things were going. From what the loner knew, his mate Leafheart was still missing and wasn't expected to return. And as cruel as it may have sounded, her heart wished it to be true. She had enjoyed his company, finding it easy to be around him. And they had a good deal in common, too. They both liked a good killing every now and again.

She stopped pacing the boarder when she spotted a dark tabby shape up ahead, near a pool in the ground, carrying a familiar scent. Unaware of the other ShadowClan cats, Kiki crossed the boarder in a couple bounds and padded closer to the tom with a friendly mew of hello. "Hi there, Tigerfang," she mewed.

Leafheart began to tremble with rage as she saw the loner the mate stealer, Kiki. Her claws unsheathed ready for a fight, but surprisingly she stayed behind the bush. She wanted to watch this devil cat before she made her move. This she-cat might ebb the need for blood but Leafheart had cured him for teh small time they had been together. She knew that when he was with her he didn't feel the pain and anger of abandonment that drove him to kill.

Lavanderkit also took in this she-cat but she wasn't going to sit and let this witch work her magic. She moved closer until she was barely in the shadows near them. She hissed silently letting her little needle like claw slide from their casings as she held herself back. Her heart began to pulse at the thought of her father loving this loner filth. If he ever loved her and they had kits she would never forgive him for betraying their family.

Tigerfang looked up to hear his name being called, It had been called by the same carrier of the familiar sent "Kiki!"he mewed standing up and running over to her and nudging heads he looked up to her and sat down but his eyes changed from excitement to explanation "Kiki...Leafheart came back..I tried to tell her I have moved on well you can guess what happened " he mewed his ears bent back as he looked to his paws unsure of how she would react.

Lavanderkit let out a snarl as she saw her father nuzzle Kiki. How dare he choose to rip their family to shreds, to treat it like crow-food for this she-cat. She jumped into the clearing letting her fur fluff up on her tail and back. She bared her little white teeth as she took several steps towards the she-cat. Whether her father would protect Kiki she didn't care she was here for one thing and one thing only. FAMILY.

Leafheart growled as her daughter jumped out of the safety of the shadows. She gasped as Lavanderkit moved towards the loner and had no doubt the Tigerfang would protect the loner over his daughter. SHe too moved from her spot to get a little closer, for when Tigerfang stopped Lavanderkit she would attack the loner.

Tigerfang turned his head to see Lavenderkit come from the bushes he looked up to the bushes she had come from only to see the eyes of another looking back at him. Tigerfang stayed calm and looked back to Lavenderkit "Hello Lavenderkit....Leafheart I know your there" he mewed as he waited for her to come out.

Leafheart growled stepping forward, but she didn't growl at Tigerfang, Oh no she was growling at the infamous Kiki. Her own claws slunk out as she stepped out from the shadows. It was no doubt that this she-cat was pretty but all Leafheart saw was hate and killing.

Lavanderkit walked back to her mother. "Don't talk to me Tigerfang!", she snapped swiping the air in front of his nose. Her heart was screaming in pain as she looked at the very cat that had torn all of her dreams in half. On one side she wanted her family to be tofether for ever and on teh other she wanted to rip this she-cat limb from limb.

Tigerfang didn't move "Leafheart your going to have to get over it" he mewed looking to her only some cats would of been able to see he was screaming inside. He wanted to stay but what he wanted in his heart. He couldn't be with Leafheart the pain had been to much when she had left even if she had returned...

Leafheart growled again. "I can't Tigerfang! What you did to me has only made my love more powerful!", she snarled flickering her tail. She couldn't hold his gaze for more than a second before she felt the urge for tears rising. She fought them the bast she could only letting two or three escape, before she stared Tigerfang straight in the eyes. Her love was not something that was going to be dropped and wavered at the first trial of hardship.

He stared coldly at her "This never would of happened if you hadn't left I got abandoned not you! You know my story and you know it well...I thought you where dead same with Lavenderkit you chose to leave and I chose to except the fact of moving on" he mewed no emotion showing as he then sat down beside Kiki there pelts almost touching knowing it would bug Leafheart.

Leafheart winced letting a few more tears fall. She looked around wildly not sure what she was seeing through the blur of tears. "Did you forget what you did to me?", she asked trying to see his face through the water. "Do you remember what happened to me! You caused me pain and harm yet I still loved you. You did so much more then abandon me. You killed me!", she growled looking to Lavanderkit. They had never told their kits how they were concieved and this was not how she wanted her daughter to find out.

This Is My Life

Kiki hadn't been aware of Leafheart's presence until she had revealed herself, and had at first just been happy to see the tabby tom again. After the kit popped out of the bushes however, her neck fur had bristled and her claws unsheathed. It wasn't the kit she was concerned with- no, it was the mother. She had clung to the hope that the she-cat wouldn't return, for a reason she herself couldn't even explain. But here she was, and Tigerfang had told her he'd moved on. It gave her a smug pride.

The black and brown loner narrowed her eyes at the queen. "Yes, he's awfully good at killing. But stop blaming him. It was you who left him in the first place." Her voice was cold, but she gave off a sense of being above. She didn't care what this she-cat felt.

Tigerfang "Yes I do and it was wrong of me and yes it brought us together and I was happy for so long you even made the pain go away it was when you left that it came back then I met Kiki" he explained. He walked over to her and put his head to hers "Listen Leafheart I will still be there for you and our kits, I will still call you friend I will not leave Shadowclan and I will help when I can and I will be there for you and our kits" he mewed trying to calm her down.

This Is The Way

Kiki's pride had faltered when the tom walked away, and she had strained her ears to overhear what words passed between them. But once she realized what Tigerfang was saying, it soared right back up again. Things were going perfectly. She was being selfish, true, but weren't things for the better this way? The tabby was choosing her over the mother of his kits. That meant for than anything to her. The loner looked passed the tom to give a winning smile to the ShadowClan she-cat, her eyes narrowed in confidence.
