Returning to Sorrow[Tigerfang]

Leafheart limped back into her old camp carrying Lavanderkit. Although Lavanderkit was large she had twister her foot on the journey and needed help getting back. When she had put Lavanderkit down she scented the air for a familiar that she almost needed to smell. But it never came. Her eyes glassed over in confusion as she looked about, but again to dissappointment, No Tagerfang

Tigerfang came in from the entrance holding fresh kill and dropped into the pile.

When Leafheart finally found the scent she had been seeking it was on the wrong cat. This tom looked so angry and full of rage as he dropped his spoils in the fresh kill pile. The cruel glint in his eye scared Leafheart slightly, because it wasn't her beloved Tigerfang that looked back. It was the evil tom that had forced his loved upon her.

Tigerfang's eyes glared around he noticed Leafheart...wait Leafheart? His eyes stayed cold as he looked at the she-cat he once loved, his claws extended at the though of when she left...his muscles rippled under his fur as he snarled at her.

Leafheart flinched as she saw his teeth curl into a snarl. She looking into his eyes with a longing that she had never felt before. She stepped forward trying to see what had agitated him so. "Tigerfang, my love?", she asked a little worried.

He looked to her with the same hatred "You left....you left just like the rest of my family..." he spat. He had told her why he got the pain and it was from his family being taken away or leaving him...yet she had made a promise to never leave. His heart had turn back into a black hole of pain and sorrow...

Leafheart cringed as she took in the hate and anger in her voice. She had wanted so much to just be near Tigerfang but this was to much to handle. Tears began to stream from her eyes as her legs buckled from under her as she thought about the possibility of him not loving her anymore. "I am sorry!", she sobbed curling into a little ball. She had never felt so much sorrow in her life. She shook violently when the hate in his voice clamped down on her.

Tigerfang looked down at her his eyes clouded by pain more than anger. He layed down beside her trying to calm her he licked between her ears and nuzzled her under her chin. He didn't like to see her so..so broken....Tigerfang did still love her it was the fact of being abandoned like he had been by his parents then being left alone after his sister died...then there was the thought of her and his only daughter being dead...

Leafheat licked him with as must force as she could trying to inhale his beautiful scent. She leaned back to take in his handsome face when she scented something off in his fur. What it was she had no idea but it would have to be pressed later. "Where is Spotkit love?", she asked looking around.

Lavanderkit limped out towards her father. "Daddy!", she yelped as she hobbled over. "I missed you!", she purred with delight.

Spotkit came running round the corner "Momma!" he mewed running into her and pressing his fur into hers.

Leafheart rubbed her chin against her sweet little Spotkit. He had grown so big and would soon be bearing his apprentiship. She smiloed as his small body pressed to hers.

Lavanderkit leap on her father and began to lick him when she saw Spotkit. She skipped over to him waving her tail. "Look how big you are!", she squeaked.

Tigerfang smiled but it was not the same to him any more. And noticed Leafheart had a limp to her walk also so did Lavenderkit.

Spotlit looked to his sister after giving his mother a lick "You too! but what happened to your leg?" he asked seeing her limp.

Lavanderkit frowned as she thought of the accident that had left her partially lame. "I got my paw stuck in a crack and I twisted it.", she sighed not wanting to tell all of the story.

Leafheart saw a smile that had not the same warmth that it had once held for her or her kits. She looked away before looking to her kits. "Go and play you two I want to talk to Tigerfang. ALONE!", she grimaced not wanting to face reality. When she saw that her kits were out of earshot she turned to her mate. "You do not love me anymore do you?", she asked a hardness creeping into her voice. It had happened before and she was not to fond of the experience. The last time the putrid tom had given her kits and then vanished leaving her heart to deal with breaks all over.

Tigerfang looked to Leafheart and to the question she was asking when the kits had gone "My Leafheart, my leafheart I do still love you...but you were gone for a long time I thought you where dead I tried to cope with the pain but I have met someone else and am now unsure of what I should do my life is stuck in a rut" he mewed.

Leafheart's breath caught in the back of her throat. The worst had happened as the words truely sank in. He had met someone else, the very scent that reeked off his fur. Anger filled her heart as she leap up, her leg yowling in pain. Leafheart's tormented eyes looked to her kits, her sweet kits. "Then leave. If you have found someone else leave.", she whispered for no breath was in her lungs. She looked to her kits once more before unleashing her rage. "Who is she?!? I will kill her!", she yelled pacing back and forth in rage. "Did you let her near Spotkit?", she asked not wanting this devil cat near her baby.
