She went behind the rotten stump, and curled up there, whimpering to herself.

Tigerstorm watched Aphrodite go, then turned back to Phoenixpaw. He stood there still, looking to her with a frown. "Phoenixpaw....is that what you really want? Because I don't want you to leave, I care very much about you." He said quietly, looking to her with soft eyes. "But if you want to attack me, go ahead. I'd rather that then you leave."

She lifted up her head, and shook her head.

"I just want to be noticed. I want the cat who I look up to.. to actually look at me for who I am, not because of who my sister is. She may be the most beautiful cat that the other cat sees, but I can still get hurt from it."

She said rather calmly, which was rather surprising. She was directing it to TigerStorm, no matter if he knew or not. She said what she felt, said what was on her mind.

She shook her head, and looked down.

Tigerstorm frowned, listening to her carefully. "Phoenixpaw....I've never thought of you and your sister together. No matter my feelings for her, they won't affect out relationship. I promise." He said with a small smile, nudging her shoulder lightly.

The she-cat looked over at him, and then away.

"I can't believe that."

She mew'd, and looked down.

"I just can't. I see how you look at her, I see how you act towards her. You make it seem like she is the msot important cat in the world, leaving all the others in the dust. Do you know how that feels?"

She looked at him, pain and despair gripping her little heart, which was clearly shown in her eyes.

Tigerstorm's smile soon faded at her words and the look in her eyes. "Phoenixpaw...it's not the same. You're my apprentice, I'll protect you and make sure you learn everything I can teach you....but once you're a warrior, I'm alone again. You're sister...it's just different because it's your sister. If it wasn't...would you still think I was abandoning you?" He paused, thinking for a minute before sighing. "I...I'll stop being with her if it bothers you so much..."

She looked up at him, and then stood up. She sighed, and looked down.

"She always gets what she wants. Just because she is so beautiful. I was granted with, well, the need of knowledge. I've always wanted it, but in turn, I don't really get what I want. When I look at Dite.. She's beautiful, smart, and not to mention, she gets what she wants."

She looked across the camp at her sister, then back at TigerStorm. She didn't reply to the last comment he made, only looked away.

Tigerstorm frowned, looking down. "Listen, it's just me and you alright? No more me and her. We have training later, see you then." He said solemnly, turning and padding to Warrior's den.

She watched him go sadly, and when he was, she padded over to her sister. She couldn't help but growl a bit, but then took a few steps back to go to the fresh-kill pile. She was eyeing the prey, and then noticed, she wasn't hungry.

PheonixPaw hissed to herself, and padded to the apprentice's den. She was confused, sad, mad, and then again, comforting or happy. It was odd, but it was true as well. Did she have a crush on TigerStorm? If so, is this why she feels so torn? Or is it something else?
