Sunkit has a very brightly colored pelt that is striking to look at. His golden tabby pelt is indeed very light- lighter than most, at least. And being a tabby, his fur is striped with a darker, bolder shade of gold (quite like the shade of his amber eyes) that stands out clearly against the fainter backdrop. And the fur that makes up his pelt does have some length to it, tending to stick up in wispy kinks if not groomed properly. But it is also still quite soft and downy with kit fluff.

Around his muzzle is the only patch of white on his pelt, and it makes it slightly difficult to distinguish from this his equally white whiskers- from their base, at least. Sunkit's whiskers are in fact quite long, stretching out far beyond the outline of his face. But in the middle of his white muzzle, his nose does tend to stand apart, as it is quite the vibrant shade of red.

The young tom's build has already made it clear that he will grow into a tall cat. His legs are a bit longer than other kits, along with his chest, allowing him to sit a almost a head above the other cats his age. And as to balance out this hight, Sunkit's tail is equally long. Unfortunately, the kit's build do not promise any extraordinary features to go with his stature. He was not born with the muscle tone of a cat destined to be the greatest fighter in the Clan, or necessarily to be the greatest hunter. He will have to work hard to achieve rank, as his natural born ability is lacking.

Attitude:

At just five moons, a kit's personality still has a long way to go in terms of development. They start out as a blank sheet which the events on their life must alter by leaving their marks. For Sunkit, his life is no exception. The thing is, his life has yet to take any interesting turns. But even so, he has begun to shape himself on his own.

Sunkit has already decided on his own that the most important thing in a Clan cat's life should be loyalty. Not just Clan loyalty, or loyalty to the warrior code (which do matter greatly), but all branches of loyalty. Cats should be loyal to their friends, their leaders- any cat who proves to be a trustworthy ally should be rewarded with a trust that Sunkit expects to be returned mutually. While other virtues are important in their own way, of course, the young kit is oddly concerned with loyalty.

Despite his above average hight, Sunkit doesn't impose himself as above his Clanmates. He instead acts relatively humble. The young tabby doesn't see himself as 'great' in any particular way, and would rather look toward another cat for leadership. This isn't to say that Sunkit doesn't have confidence, however. He won't be pushed around by any cat, and he does have a sense of pride. He just won't be the cat to make the big decisions.

With his Clanmates, Sunkit maintains a cheerful, outgoing disposition that is common among kits, as he is eager to be liked and to make friends. But already, he isn't particularly fond of cats outside ThunderClan. Not to say that he hates outsiders- not even kittypets leave that much of an impression on him- but he doesn't care for anyone outside his own territory. He regards these non-ThunderClan cats as annoyances that should be watched carefully.

History:

As stated prior, little has yet to occur in Sunkit's brief five moons of life. But this only concerns what he is able to remember.

He was born to ThunderClan queen Heathercloud and tom Rushclaw- this much he knows. But there is more to his story. Sunkit was born as the only healthy kit in a litter of four. The other three were particularly scrawny and had difficulties during birth, and died soon after. Because this happened so quickly, and because no one ever liked to bring up the subject, Sunkit has no memory nor knowledge of his less fortunate siblings.

But another complication arose concerning his birth: his pelt. Sunkit, with his bright golden fur, look nothing like either of his parents or earlier relations. Heathercloud was a tabby, and Rushclaw was a pure black tom, and their parents went along the same genetic lines. There was no trace of yellow fur to be found within the family lineage. And while this was found odd, no cat ever thought to mention the fact to Sunkit that he looked more like a certain recently deceased ThunderClan warrior than any cat he was related to by blood.
