Bramblepelt headed toward the the mountian with his hunting party close behind him. He had carefully picked them for their hunting talents. Soon he pick up the scent of several vole and mice. His party was on the move. They soon had a small pile of fresh kill and were heading back to camp. It was soon to dark to move on and they had to spend the night in the forest.

Lavandarpelt had been among the hunting party with her deputy. He was a proud sort of cat that gave her hope for the future of Shadowclan. They had been hunting around for awhile now when they had a small pile of prey for the rest of the clan. But on Bramblepelt's orders the hunting party remained in the area for the night. Brammblepelt reminded her of her father, or who her father had been before he ha left the clan. "Great Hunting today Bramblepelt!", she encouraged before curling up into a ball. The night air was cool and crisp making it comfortable. Some nights it could either be so cold that you would freeze or so hot that you wouild swelter. But Bramblepelt had chosen an optimum night for the hunt.
