Description:

Flareclaw's pelt is slim and soft. He looks sleek and puny, but under his pelt are some strong muscles. He is also sleek and slim. He is a red tabby with bright yellow eyes. When he gets ready to leap, he squats as low as possible, then leaps. When he hunts, he hunts stealthily. When he battles, he battles with his heart and determination to protect his Clan. When he is angry, you can tell because his ears are laid back and you can see the anger burning within his eyes. He is a normal size cat as well with strong, sturdy legs. He looks like a Warrior who is more than a Warrior, he is a leader. He hopes one day to become leader, but he will wait, not kill, just wait. When he is determined, well, you can see it in his eyes. Some say when the sun hits his pelt, he is hard to look at because his pelt looks like the sun of a fire. Some other cats say that if he is sneaking through the undergrowth in a hunt, the prey sees him with his pelt before he sees it. When he is playing, you can tell because his ears are not laid back and he has no anger in his eyes or determination, except to beat the cat he is playing with or training. When he is happy, well, his eyes are bright and happy and he acts nice to everyone. When he swims and comes out of the water, he looks a lot smaller than he actually is. He is also a very fast runner and he is built for hunting and battling. When at the Gathering, his pelt is well groomed. He is also a very large cat.

Attitude:

Flareclaw is a loving cat. He loves all cats, except the enemy. He is fierce in battle and no one wants to fight him. He loves kits and would love a mate like a cat should. He can get really mean, and sometimes, out of control. Though he is fast, strong, and a great Warrior in all areas. Flareclaw cares for kits and follows the Warrior Code at all costs. He gets annoyed though and then gets mad which can lead into a rampage. He has courage to help his Clan and great loyalty to his Clan and in StarClan. He would help anyone or any Clan in need, just as long as they aren't battling. He can be a vicious cat when needed. He treats kits like a mother would treat her kits. When he tries to call off fighting cats he yells at them nicely. He jumps to conclusions when needed but they aren't always the right choices. He is normally a very talkative cat. When in debt though to a fallen cat he is very silent for a few days. He won't let outsider's in. He won't let the Clan's bloodline be disrupted. He loves to hunt and battle, especially for his clan. That tells you how much he would give for his clan. He has hopes to one day become leader but will wait patiently for it. He is very good at training Apprentices in the ways of a Warrior. Although he has only had 1, he was very good at training him. Some cats say he is like the legend Firestar, some cats say different, no one knows.

History:

Flareclaw was born to a ThunderClan Warrior named Vermontfur. His father was Zelkovafur. Vermontfur was more of a short haired brown she-cat with yellow eyes. Zelkovfur was more of a medium haired silver tom with yellow eyes. He was the first of 3 in the litter. Disturbedkit was a gray cat with short fur and glowing yellow eyes and was the 2nd of the litter. The last of the litter was Sunkit. Sunkit is a hybrid and got red medium fur. His eyes were still the same though, something you don't find on red cats that often, blue eyes. From when he opened his eyes and could talk the apprentices would make fun of how weak he looked. His mom got them to be quiet though. He loved to help with the apprentices though. He also liked to listen to the Elders. As a kit he would talk on and off.

He was made an apprentice and went to his first Gathering when he was 7 moons old. In a great battle where a lot of blood was shed he got injured. The battle changed his life. His parents and siblings died. He wouldn't speak for many days afterward. He was shcoked and lonely. He was a well-mannered apprentice despite how much he talked. His mentor who is now dead, Moondream once said to the young apprentice "Hunting and battling is not what you are made of, but what lies inside the heart, how you act." His training went well and he became a great hunter and battler. Now as an apprentice he was becoming smarter and talked a lot more. He became a Warrior at 12 Moons old, the normal age apprentices become Warriors.

He spent moons working on 1 thing, he was a determined cat to do what his clan needed. He fought hard in a perilous battle and helped the Clan through a major storm. After that he hunted and restocked the fresh-kill pile to recover from the storm. He has shown himself many times that he is a true Warrior. One time during the storm when a tree caught on fir and a kit was climbing in it, he climbed up and saved it and leaped out just in time to save him. He then after that, showed himself he was worthy of an apprentice. He got that kit as his apprentice. His name is Wasptail. He was Waspkit then Wasppaw back then. He trained him hard in the ways of a Warrior, then 2 moons ago, he became a Warrior with the name, Wasptail. Now Wasptail was a brave cat and fought in only 1 battle, that battle was 1 moon ago. He was fighting off a big group of Rogues and got cut in the belly. He battled it for a week, then he died. There was no use, he couldn't go on, nothing could fix it, StarClan was calling him. Flareclaw's reaction was, like his siblings and his parent's when he saw them die. He stayed quit for a week, but this time even longer. He worked hard with him and they had become great friends. He is still very quiet to this day. He sleeps in comfort, at least he acts like it. He still every once in a while has nightmares about the battle. He is still hunting for a mate. He is also looking for another apprentice to bond with tightly again.
