But Rouge was very adventurous and loved to see a change of scenery. One day, he traveled into the forest and had claimed to fall in love with a Clan cat. Appalled, Father started to become more and more cruel in punishment toward Rouge. And Grungepelt's mother abandoned both of them. And finally, one time Father went too far and viciously murdered Rouge for his affair.
Scared of suffering the same fate of all his sibblings, Grungepelt ran away to the forest. He claimed he didn't remember anything and tried to join the clans.
He was finally accepted into ThunderClan, the same Clan his brother's mate was in.
