The air was silent almost knowing that the cats would be attending to the clearing soon. Humidity was almost choking as the rain had stopped for the time being and the heat had returned. The trees all hung under the weight of all the water that had pounded them for days and days. Thge ground had dried up alright but there were still mud puddles here and there and if a cat wasnt too careful they would sit in a sinkhole. The branch where the leaders usually stood was no longer hanging there but had broken off to the floor into many pieces. A tree however had fallen and laid sideways leaning on another tree that would have to do for the leaders.
