Welcome to Clan Cats of the Forest: FACTION! We are a literate original character
Warriors RPG. We welcome members of all ages and have a great time here at CCOTF. With friendly staff and an intriguing plot we have nowhere to go but up. Hope to see you around!
A skinny, scrawny rabbit-a rare find, but a catch that would hardly be enough to fill an apprentice, much less a warrior. It's brown and white fur was just outlined by the shattered rays of light pounding against the dirt covered ground, lighting up the white patched of soft hairs seem to shimmer and shine in the sunlight. It's tiny, cotton ball-like tail bobbed back and forth, almost daring her to leap on it and feed it to the clan. It's noes twitched, almost as though it was tracking down prey. But how much praise would she get for a small, tiny creature like that? If anything, her reputation would actually go backwards. Target one? Maybe another day - just not now.
Two.
A typical apprentice's duty was to switch out old, damp bedding for new, clean moss found in the forest. And, as fate would have it, what was a few tail lengths away, but a bit of fresh moss? But did she really want to dirty herself with boring duties that her denmates could handle just as well? Do I really have to tell you? option two was out of the question.
Three.
Something she did on a day to day basis, which had honestly become more of a chore then anything - bringing annoyance to her fellow clanmate, Batwing. The black tom had such a short temper and bothering him was a breeze. The tom was disliked for the most part, and his grumpiness often annoyed others. Sometimes people thanks her for shutting the black warrior up. The two seemed inseperable, since she follow him around almost all day, every day. But today, even target three seemed dull and boring. Not even the tom's irritated yowls would perk up this she-cat.
"I'm so bored..." she groaned, floating onto her belly, the tiny thud of her colliding with the ground scaring away her potential catch. Looks like another peice of prey on the pile wasn't going to happen today. Not that it mattered. Going for something that small? It just wouldn't be worth the effort. Well, many things weren't worth the effort in her eyes, but that's not important. Letting out an exaggerated sigh, the she-cat flipped onto her other side and glanced at the bit of sun peeking through the leaves of the treese above. Of course, she could only take in the beuty for a matter of heartbeats before having to tear away her track of sight from the blinding light.
"To ba leaf-fall's coming soon..." she realised aloud, watching as a single leaf fell from a branch above, almost as though responding to her statement. "Then the prey's gonna be even scrawnier then that stupid rabbit... Yep, I can't wait for that to happen." Puffing out her left check as she usually did when she was not content, she attempted to get to her paws once more. Sitting around on her lazy bum would feed the clan, and it certainly would help the clan in any other way, either. But, being the she-cat she was, Shadowpaw found the effort to be to much, so, as laziness seeped back into her paws and spread throughout the rest of her body, she collapsed onto the ground with an 'oof!'.
"I'm still bored!" she yowled in fake agony, wanting sympathy for having nothing to do. Well, a little, maybe. "And I'm suffering from a servere case of laziness! I think I need a medicine cat!" Of course, the last bit of her somewhat loud calls was meant to be a joke. But it was true; she was to lazy to even stand up. "Sometimes..." the black female continued, "being an apprentice is really lame..."
It was went a thought made it's way into the depths of her mind that the apprentice shot to her four black paws, her eyes huge with excitement. "Maybe it won't be so dull! With the mouse brained river still rising, tensions between us clans are bound to rise! we might be on the brink of battle! Yes, Miss Shadowpaw, you might get to show off you mad skills in battle with some other fox hearted clan! This is gonna rock!" With that, almost as though it took to much effort to even let those words spill from her mouth, she fall back onto her back and stared at the sky.
"But I'm still bored now."
((A good 'ol thread with Foxflight outta be fun~! :3 But it's so short! Sorry, Ni-chan! D:))
((I'm so sorry for the wait! T.T Forgive me please.))
His amber eyes descended through the branches of a tree. When his paws touched the ground with an umpf, one could plainly see he was carrying a rather big crow. It's feathers spewed out of his mouth, but Foxflight wasn't complaining. Ever since the flood, food had been scarce and he was glad for his tree climbing training to get him this meal for the clan. It was rather plump and had probably come from the two-leg nests abroad, but one couldn't be picky.
The red and white warrior trotted to camp with gleaming eyes. Days had been getting better for him to cope with, especially since his crush was safe from the waters. Ferncloud was a subject he liked and then felt weird about because she had lost her memory of many things. She was so different that at times he felt he was sitting by another she-cat and felt alone. If she knew about his plans in the past he probably would've been alone right now. Thank Starclan no one knew other than the cats that had assembeld with similiar motives.
When he got to camp, he put down the crow greatfully. The pile wasn't as stocked as it used to be and that was something no one could be blamed about. The tom flicked his ears with displeasure before sneaking a glance at the medicine den. A rather loud wail of discontent caused him to turn around hastily. Who's making all the racket? He spotted the cat right away and smirked. It was Shadowpaw and she was bored apparently as it was easy for anyone to tell with all the noise.
An idea hit him and a mischevious smile played upon his face as he yanked a tail feather from the crow. He then made his way to the dark apprentice while twitching his whiskers. "You're bored? In camp? With nothing to do?," he asked while putting the feather under his paw. Oh this was going to be brilliant. It was time to get this she-cat off her lazy rump. If she complained later he'd say she brought it upon herself which in fact she did just that.
