Breaking these rules wont get you banned but if you break them habitually you may be restricted to OOC boards.

I am so angry at this cat right now. I reach out with my claws and placed them on the other cats throat killing him quickly. LOLZ. The leader stepped down and made me the new leader and also I did my mate and she’s preggo now.

Alright so this example thread above is so wrong in every way. Anyone who posts something like that will be sent to RP School until you graduate to a beautiful post like the one at the end. Let’s examine where this post went wrong.

1. No God-Modding(GM) or Power-Playing(PP)- godmodding is when you try to roleplay an invincible/unbeatable cat and powerplaying is when you roleplay character that you do not own. (ex. “placed them on the other cats throat killing him quickly.”) You did not give the other cat a chance to reply and defend themselves. This also is for the rule of NO KILLING OFF OTHERS CHARACTERS. Keep your paws on your own cat!

2. All posts should be in 1st or 3rd person. All posts must also be in the past tense (ex: Tigerclaw shot his claws out to rake the cat’s nose). Posting in the present is not permitted. First and Third person can easily be found when you are using the cats name or pronouns to refer to the cat. Using “I” is not allowed.

3. Second part of the password is Fluttershy.

4. If you want a mate please go to the mating applications. Both parties must agree to be mates. You must also complete at least 3 threads before your cats can be mates, and 3 more once they are mates before they can have kits.

4. No detailed description of mating please. If you apply to have kits and refer to your female cat as pregnant with kits we will get the point. This goes back to the sexual content rule.

5. If you want kits, understand that the number and descriptions will be decided for you by the IC moderator UNLESS you purchase sed rights in the shoppe, this is so we don't become overrun with unneeded kits.

6. All posts need to be at least 300 words long. (come on guys that's not hard at all. 2+ sentence to describe the area, 2+ sentence to describe your cat, 2+ sentence to say something or about how they feel) Please feel free to have as many sentences as you want after you hit 5. This makes replying to posts much easier.

7. You are allowed two cats upon joining. If you would like another character there are two ways in order to gain one. (1) you may purchase a new character slot in the shoppe. (2) you may purchase a kitten that is up for adoption.

8. ALL CATS DIE. No cat can be young forever (even though the Erin’s tend to forget this part ), so keep this in mind. Old age, sickness, and battle wounds all shorten a cat's life. MAKE A POST ABOUT WHEN THEY DIE. THEY CAN NOT JUST GO "POOF" IT'S DEAD.

9. No character has super powers. If you would like to purchase mod's you may in the shoppe.

10. You may have 1 High Position. No Exceptions! You may either have a Leader, Deputy, or Medicine Cat but not more than one. Please note that you can only apply for a high position when it is open for application.

11. If you do not reply to activity checks, your high position will be taken away.

So let’s see what an appropriate post would look like:

Tigerclaw was so angry you could almost see it in his eyes. He was going to attack this cat for his insolence but for now he contented to sit there lashing his tail irritated. Just when he thought that the cat was getting the point another insolent comment hit his ears and he could not hold it in any longer. “That is it you insolent rat!” He snarled standing up and squaring his shoulders facing the smaller cat. His sharp claws glistened as he shot them out to rake Swiftfoot’s nose. When Tigerclaw had satisfied his anger he turned back towards camp. He was irritated that their clan had to suffer under such a weak leader he would be a much better leader for the clan. Tigerclaw shook it off. Better get back to Goldenflower now, she’s so worrisome over me ever since she found out about the kits. With that thought Tigerclaw disappeared from sight into the underbrush.
