Rainpaw nodded, ignoring some thoughts that told him this might not be such a good idea. "Yes, if you can help me become a warrior. I'll do whatever you say." He said, looking her straight in the eyes in all seriousness.

Rainpaw nodded to her, turning to pad back to his friends. He looked around, trying to mask how happy he was. He glanced up, meeting eyes with Riddlehawk and looking away quickly. Had he been watching him the whole meeting? If he found out...he'd forbide him from doing this. He quickly ducked his head down and padded back over to Miraclefur and Flightpaw.

MiracleFur's whiskers quivered, and blinked.

"What did that cat want? She is no good, I tell you! Always rude, and never think about anybody else!"

She shook her head.

Flightpaw nodded in agreement. "Miraclefur's right! Besides, wasn't she working with Froststorm?" Her eyes shimmered with worry.

Rainpaw shrugged, licking his paw and swiping it over his head to fix some of his messed up fur. "Nothing really...just wanted to rag on Riddlehawk some more. Shouldn't have gone to talk to her, she's not the most friendly cat.." He responded nonchalantly, never realizing how easy lying came to him. But it made him feel guiltly, lying to his friends....but it would be worth it right?

Flight grimaced. "You should be more careful! She could hurt you to get to Riddlehawk, or something like that. What would ThunderClan do without their medicine cat?"

Rainpaw blushed at what Flightpaw said, shaking his head. "Hey now...I'm not the medicine cat, Dappledfrost is." He said softly, scuffling his paws with embarrassment. "And why would she do that?" He asked, looking back to Riddlehawk. "I'm not his apprentice anymore...he's got Starpaw." With that, he shook his head and padded away. "I'm going to get some fresh air."

Flightpaw's ears flattened as she sighed. "I do worry about him," she mewed to Miraclefur. "He's already in a bad enough shape. I don't want it to get even worse."
