Flightpaw purred, then turned to her friend. "Rainpaw knows a lot, too. Don't worry, I'm sure Dappledfrost will give you your name soon. Maybe at the next meeting!"

Rainpaw could feel his skin warm under his fur with embarrassment from her praise. He smiled back to her, shrugging. "I hope so...I can't stand being called Rainpaw anymore, I feel like it might as well be my full name!" He said lightly, grinning. He didn't realize it, but he glanced past Flightpaw, talking to her but his eyes seemed to be searching for someone else..

Flightpaw purred. "Yeah, I could see you as an old elder still named Rainpaw." She smiled, then noticed he was looking somewhere behind her. She turned her head, trying to follow his line of sight, but didn't see anything in particular. "What are you looking at? Are you looking for someone?"

Rainpaw now was blushing more, turning to look back at her. "Oh, s-sorry..." He shrugged, shaking his head. "Just...Sunpaw, Riverclan apprentice. She...she saved my life. I wanted to see her and thank her." That was true, he did want to thank her again. But if anyone really looked at his eyes...you could tell he wouldn't mind if he just got a glimpse of her. Even though he knew the warrior code and knew his line of duty....

This tom had fallen completely head over heels.

Her ears perked at RainPaw, trying to detect something under his fur. There was something else going on, but she couldn't tell what. She shook her head.

Crookedstar stood up. "The prey runs well in Riverclan. Our warrior Froststorm was murdered last day but other than that our clan is just fine. Miraclefur is the clans new medicine cat." She turned to sit back down.

Flightpaw flicked an ear. "Oh, okay." She shuffled her paws uncomfortably. Rainpaw seemed to be pretty fond of this Sunpaw she-cat. It made her stomach clench. He couldn't actually like a RiverClan cat, could he?

She rose her chin high when CrookedStar mentioned her, then went back to chatting with the apprentices.

"RainPaw is just fine. I'm sure."

Her ear flicked a bit, sensing un-ease with FlightPaw. She seemed to be worried about something. She gave her shoulder a nudge with her nose.

Flightpaw seemed to snap out of a trance as the medicine cat nudged her. "Hmm? Oh, it's nothing, really," she mewed, still a bit distracted. "Er, I'm sorry to hear about Froststorm. But I'll tell you, he wasn't well liked in ThunderClan."

She laughed a bit and shrugged.

"I know. It's okay, although NeedleHeart is a bit mad and upset about it."

Her nose pointed to the cream-colored she-cat who was padding back and forth in the crowd.

Flightpaw nodded, looking off towards the RiverClan warrior. "Yeah, she seems kind of irritated. Was she his friend or something?"

"Indeed, she was the only one he was nice to."

She laughed a bit.

"I wonder why."

Flairpaw shrugged. "I dunno. I'm not in RiverClan. I don't think I ever even saw Froststorm. I didn't get to go to any of the battles." She frowned. "Did you know him at all?"
