Swiftkit, Swankit and Smallkit emerged from the Nursery.
"Lets Play ShadowClan invaders!" Swiftkit said.
"No! ThunderClan Invaders!" argued Swankit.
"Why don't we play Gathering?" Smallkit suggested.
"No thats boring Smallkit! There is no fighting!" Swankit hissed.

Ashkit padded over the other kits and sat down. "What if we played Journey to StarCave?" Ashkit suggested, her black tipped tail curling neatly around her paws. She smiled at the kits. Somehow, though only a moon older, she had the patience of a cat that was five times her age.

Swankit looked at Swiftkit. "Why didn't you think of that?!" she hissed and tackled him playfully.
Smallkit rolled her eyes and looked away from her fighting littermates and padded over to Ashkit. "Ok! How do we Play?"

Ashkit giggled. "Well. First we have to find our StarCave. What should we use as our StarCave?" Ashkit asked with a smile.

Swankit looked up from pinning down Swiftkit. "The Leaders den!"
Swiftkit looked over to Ashkit. "NO! The Nursery!"
Smallkit rolled her eyes again. "We should use the fresh-kill pile. I'm starving."
Swankit let go of Swiftkit. Swiftkit looked padded over to Ashkit. "What do you think?"

Ashkit smiled. "Hmmmm. Those all sound like wonderful ideas. What if we used....That big rock over there!" She said, pointing to a big rock with a hole under it. "It even has a hole under it for the cave!"

Smallkit purred. "That's a great idea!"
Swankt snorted. "I guess"
Swiftkit looked around. "Now what?" he asked.

"Now we play. I will be a Warrior. What'll you guys be?" Ashkit looked at them, her head cocked to the side. Her tail had come away from her paws and now swished around.

Smallkit purred "I want to be the Medicine cat.
Swankit purred. "I want to be the Leader!" she said lifting her chin high.
Swiftkit hissed. "I guess I'll be the deputy..."
Swankit rolled her eyes. "Only if you grovel at my feet." she hissed.
Swiftkit growled and wailed. "Never. I'll be the Warrior."

"Great! Now everyone has a postition. Now, I'm going to be a Loner warrior who has to stop you guys from getting to the StarCave, because that's where I wanna live. You guys better try and get past me!" Ashkit bolted past them and ran to guard the ''StarCave''.

Swankit tryed to tackle her but landed right infrount of Ashkit in the dust.

Ashkit laughed and pinned her, playfully batting her about with her paws. She batted her a couple of feet back and then bolted back to her StarCave, ready to defend it from the other kits. She tried to puff herself up and look ferocious but just looked silly. She giggled at herself.

SpottedPaw blinked, seeing the kits play. She let out a purr, "What ya kits playing?" She looked at the kits, her scars still noticable. She hated them, but she hoped she could play, too. She sat down, her tan tail wrapping around her white forepaws, waiting for a reply.

"We're playin Journey To StarCave. I'm being the Loner that's protecting the cave! Wanna play?" Ashkit said. She was still a little poofy and she was crouched down to where she could put a paw out and nab anyone trying to get past her.

SpottedPaw purred, looking at AshKit, "I'd love to!" She was glad that she got invited to play, and she shifted her gaze over all the kits. She wondered where she was going to go, or be. She shifted her gaze back towards Ashkit, "What am I?" All she did was tilt her head.
