RunningPath purred, "I wanted to let you know, that I like you." She looked at him, her eyes soft. Her tail tip twitched slightly, hoping he wouldn't get mad, or dislike her for who she was. She didn't care if he wanted to be her mate, she just cared that he would accept it, and still be her friend. She let out another purr, "Just thought you should know.."

That was not the news hehad expected. Him at his age. "erm..ugh...well the thing is.. you know how old I am right?" He said hesitantly. He did like her and didn't want her to not like him because of his age but she needed to know.

RunningPath shrugged, sighing. She looked down, her ears folding against her head. "I just thought you needed to know." She said, a slight hint of pain and sorrow in her voice. She got up, her head drooping, getting back on the border Patrol. How dumb of me! She thought to herself, I knew he would say something like that! She closed her eyes, suddenly tripping over a hole of some sort. Her face landed on the ground, her paws spreading out. "Oof.." She sighed, scuffling back up. She sighed, sitting back down, gently licking her flank.

Whispertails ears drooped when he heard her dissappointment. She was walking when she tripped in a hole. He walked over and quickly licked her on teh sheek. "Oh are you alright?!" He asked he kept licking her cheek and then realizing what he was doing stopped and stepped back. "Runningpath I adore you its just I'm to old for you! Dont you want a younger tom?" He asked.

RunningPath purred when he licked her cheek. "I'm quite fine." She heard what he said, and she just shrugged. "Doesn't bother me at all. You should know me better!" She mew'd, her tail tip brushing against his nose. She purred again, her tail starting to sway side to side.

Whispertail laughed. "Well enough? I know you deserve better. But I wont deny you ha" He said with laughter in his eyes. He stood up pacing back and forth as was a bad habit of his.

RunningPath purred softly, the tip of her tail going onto his shoulder, trying to calm him down. "I see." She looked at him softly, "Shall we continue on the border patrol?" She asked, standing up. She licked his ear slightly, purring softly.

"Only if you can keep up!" He yelled speeding off down the border at lightening speed kicking up sand as he went. He laughed as the wind blew between his ears and the dirt sprawled up from his paws.

RunningPath Purred, her speed increasing. She somehow paced up beside him, her tail brushing against his flank slightly. "I love you." She somehow managed to blurt out. She didn't mean it, it rolled off her tongue. She giggled a bit, the fur where her cheeks were feeling rather hotter than normal.
