Hey there fellow role players! Here's an idea for an advertising contest- only it's a lot more fun then just going around posting our link. It's a multimedia contest for the purpose of attracting people to our site.
Entries can be a picture- photoshop, paint, etc-, slideshow or an animation.
The theme is your plot. Pick a plot you really like that YOU are role playing in, and that will be what you're picture, slideshow or animation is about.
How do you enter? Make your project, then make it into a YouTube video. The point of this is to spread word about our site to the RPing community, and videos get a lot of attention. And use music! Make it interesting! Because if its just a picture, a bit more is needed. Music and effects are both good tools. Then, once you've got it posted, fill in the video description with a blurb of what you're plot's about and add in the site link. Be sure to include that we have friendly RPers and many active and entertaining plots like the one in your video!
There will be three winners chosen from how many views their vid gets. The first place winner will get 4 karma points, the second place winner will get 3, and the third place winner gets 2. But the real reason to enter is to get us more members!
Once you're video is up, post the link below. It doesn't have to be a YouTube video is you have an account on another video-sharing site, but have the same basic principal. I will be choosing a winner at the end of the month to give you plenty of time to make it awesome!
