We need to have a new site wide plot, I know this has been said many times we really do. When we had a definite site plot(LurkClan) we had new members coming on almost everyday, now we are loosing members. The Plane crash is not enough, we need a plot that defines the site, that we can advertise. I think the LurkClan plot worked once and it can work again, we need to speed up the new LurkClan plot by finding mates for the apprentices.

The lurkclan plot... It may or may not work. I'm really unsure with this. Why? Because that would mean a lot of death(which people need to have atm) that we can not have right now. I mean-- we have a SURPLUS of cats, but... it may become a downfall. No offense.

Yes, but I remember there were two main reasons I joined this site to begin with. 1-Didn't have too many overRPers(ones that write an entire book every page) and the LurkClan plot sounded so cool. The LurkClan plot could bring in plenty of new players.

Right now on the Lurkclan thing we are just working to get it up and running again, without the surplus of loners. Wolfstorm wants to do this the right was by reproducing instead on enlisting hopless rogues! So Wolfstorm is due to have her second litter, played by anyone who wants in on the Lurker thing. We also need to make the apprentices find mates and have kits, buit remember winter is coming so in order to do this we will need to speed things up as far as training apprentiship yada yada yada. So Ya if you want a to be a mate of a Lurker or play a Lurker kitten just Pm and I will let ya'll know!

Perhaps we should allow this to break a few rules, (like speeding up pregnancy and kithood) as this is a top priority.

I agree, that this could bring in new players, but... I am just thinking with the other members that we have now. (which now I'm about to sound like a hypocrite...) But I also want a site-plot to well... that everyone would actually enjoy. I mean-- if we repeat something(because lurkclan thing is KINDOF like repeating), then they might get bored with it... You know? ((Once again, I still sounded like a hypocrite...))

on another hand, with the top priority, I don't think that is the case at the moment. I mean-- we could still speed things up with that, but... Still. it could still start to rise and such, and more people have to know about the start of Lurkclan. And then we can still advertise with this, as long as everyone here also knows. ((Is that understandable...?)) So then, more kits//apprentices//warriors are played with Lurkclan, to make it LARGER. Therefore, when it is larger, it can start to work even moreso.

I am thinking that since those are only kits we should select some warriors or loner toms or she-cats. I also think that the people playing those cats should not be played by you and me Goldy since the entire Lurkclan is made up of us. We should let some new people join in.

I very much so agree that the LurkClan plot is just repeating the first time it came around. But, unfortunetly, I can hardly see how it could work out. Tangles and Goldy- you are talking about LurkClan forming through blood ties. The plot will hardly work like that. With a new litter, you'll still only have about 10 cats. And you can't speed up the timeline for pregnancy and age so quickly just for the sake of a plot. It'll be ages before the new kits will become warriors, and frankly, I'm not fond of cats getting mates as soon as they become warriors. They're still pretty young at that point.

Sorry for being a downer, it's just my honest opinion. :/ I haven't myself been able to get excited about the plot due to the fact that it has been centered around only 2 people, that no one else has been able to get involved, and that it has taken several months for it to only get this far.

All I am saying is it will never be a site wide plot unless we can get more people in, the LurkClan plot was never fully finished, in fact it only took one thread and one player to leave for it to go down hill, and we have not gained many players since then. If we can get our act together more people will join, and quite frankly, we do not have our act together(I am a hypocrite). We are in a stuck spot, we don't have enough active players to attract active players yet we have too many to shut the site down. Personally, I think even if the LurkClan plot does bring down some of our current activeness, the plot itself will attract new players which in turn, will bring up the current players activeness.

Well. I'mma try to waddle out of htis thing, before my admin status goes away, mostly because I'm just going to say I don't like the idea.

No offense to Tangles or you, it's just... It doesn't seem like it would be a good idea.

If more cats die, that means more would be made, meaning... well, I'm not sure how to put it. Because Lurkclan is a ""Clan"" that wants to RULE the forest. It ususally means A LOT of bloodshed. Meaning. Death. Death. And. More death.

Natural disasters would actually refer to the actual Warrior book series; there wasn't much bloodshed in the warrior cat books. Sure, there were, but they were easily resolved, or they just ignored eachother.

For instance, there was fires, floods, lack of prey, dead animals, diseased prey. Those are a few things that we could do that happened there. But we could (not over exaggerate but) like make it last not like longer, but.. add a few other things to it.


Now... i'm going to shutup, and well, avoid this thread, before I kinda get all... logicness...

We have gone over the ideas of natural disasters but the problem is we don't have enough members or warriors to be getting sick and dying, and a dangerous plot is no fun at all if no one is dying. So the problem at hand is finding a reasonable plot that attracts members and does not kill every one off at the same time.

I also agree with the whole Lurkclan thing, me and Goldy and the rest of the site would have to take a long time to even suggest having Lurkclan return, and I am not planning on them dominating the whole forest.

What I suggest is that we have and evil group who are like Scarshadow and Foxflight meeting with other clan cats and plotting to take over as leaders sort of Tigerstar kind of plot. The way we have the strife of good vs. evil and the plot that doesn't slaughter off warriors and clan cats. We also have a surplus of loners if anybody had any ideas concerning that area plot wise!

We also have the option of going with the Icepaw thing as an attachment to the other plots....

Any who just post your ideas we can maybe have a poll to decide who likes what and get advertising!

yes, I know this, but the thing is... not all natural disasters make Cats die. I mean, maybe 5. In the warriors, not really any died but elders. (Which we still have 1-2 elders who need to go. And I know KestralSpot has to go soon.)

The IcePaw thing hasn't really been moving along(no offense) And the loners, I'm not sure. I still gotta do stuff with Clear, Xelenia, Yakkai, Zimlock, and all of my others. Daisy is also another one who I need to get going... I've lost muse with her ever since my cat who resembled her kinda... disappeared.

I'd go for a natural disaster plot if it wasn't so very complicated.

See, if there was a tornado/flood/fire/etc., there would have to be a thread pretty much everywhere on the site about the same thing. And then everyone else's little plots would have to be shoved aside until it was all gotten under control. Personally, I have high doubts that people would push down their own plots. I mean, no one has even been paying attention to the change in season. They would probably just ignore the after affects, for the most part- AKA, the plane crash scene.

Icepaw... He's not very high priority right now. x3 He never was- nor was Frosty, really. He was just kind of a lurker. He didn't cause a war or leave some big huge mark on the Clans.

Now, loners. Loner plots have never gone over well. The majority of loners are only created to interact with the Clans or a select few. Because they are not a Clan, and not bound together by ties, there is nothing to make a good plot for them, in my mind. :/ It would be nice, but for the most part, loners stick to themselves.

I get what you are both saying. But we don't have any options for plots which means we all need to find one and agree. So start shooting out ideas about anything that you think might work so we can get passed this traffic. We don't have the time to leave this off any further! The site is dying and we need a good solid plot that everyone (Or at least most) of the members agree with. And they will have to push their own posts back for the sake of the site. We have the authority here as admins so whatever we need to do to get this site back on its feet they are going to have to grin and bear it!
