The pale grey she-cat stalked along the edge of the Gorge, choosing her footing carefully on the loose shale. She looked around with sky blue eyes that showed the sad intelligence in her. She had her ears pinned back and was focused on gettingn across this little patch of ground without killing herself. She managed across then sat down, looking down into the black abyss below. She sighed, the scarred she-cat watching the dismal gloom.

[CROOKY]

A dark tabby had been wandering around these parts for quite sometime. He saw a cat attempting to cross near the gorge. What is she trying to do die? He thought to himself before snorting and walking over. "What's a pretty little she-cat like yourself doing trying to cross that alone? A broken neck wouldn't suit you too well." Razor said looking at the cat through quizzical eyes.

The pale grey she-cat looked at him. If I wanted to die I'd have gone over the edge by now. she stated flatly. She shrugged. Just watching. I've nothing better to do, no one to see. Figured I may as well waste my day here.

[CROOKY]

Razor nodded. "So just cause then? That's as good a reason as any other." He walked towards the cat peering tentatively over the edge. "Nasty fall there, anyways I am Razor." He dipped his head to be polite to the she-cat and sat down waiting for perhaps an introduction as well.

She looked at him. M'name's Ariska. Nice to meet you Razor. she said, looking back down into the depths. A bat flew out and snagged a bug before dipping back down into the shadowy gloom.

[CROOKY]

Razor nodded to teh she-cat. "Nice to meet you as well, Ariska" He said politely. He saw her look over the edge he did as well the bat came out of nowhere. He gasped and sat back straight. "Those things are the creepiest! I swear there is no purpose for them other then to scare me." He joked.

Ariska chuckled. I often see them eating moths like a kit. she said, flicking her tail.

Razor shook his fur. "Like a kit eh? Well Starclan help whatever kit looks like that." He joked licking his paw and watching till the bat flew away thankfully. He had seen enough of them beasts to last him a lifetime.

I've met lots of kits who decide that if they catch a moth that they'll eat it. It's always amusing because they never kill it. It ends up in their mouth and they spit it out and squeal. she said with a laugh.
