Hawktalon studied the tom as he brought out his true intentions, frowning. Very specific and not something easily agreed to. But then again, if he could help them with their Lurkclan problem....Glancing to Solospot then to Streamfur, he decided to speak up. "If it's any consideration Streamfur, I'd help any way needed. I could meet up with him and get the information." He offered, shrugging easily as he glanced back to Seversk.

Streamfur frowned. "I am not sure. I must speak with Crookedstar. I can't let a rogue stay on our territory without asking Crookedstar. But you may stay for the time being while Crookedstar gets well," she meowed. She turned to Hawktalon. "Very well, Hawktalon." She looked at Solospot. "Would Crookedstar be well enough for me to talk to her about this?" she asked, her expression serious.

NeedleHeart bursted out with laughter. She stared at Seversk, and laughed.

"Oh yea, then backstab us and be Lurkclan's spy, sending them information about us."

She looked over at StreamFur, and laughed.

"Don't tell me you believe this rogue!"

Although he did agree it wasn't very smart to trust some mysterious rogue that shows up. Glances from the she-cat to the nearly black tom. Would the clan really benefit? Especially in the long run. What if their prey ran low? Would they be trapped in a debt they need to paid?


Of course, avoiding him in fights might raise flags. Perhaps pretend fights?

But Streamfur chose wisely. "Uhm, ye-yeah. Like I--like I said, she just need--needed some r-rest," His large, yellow eyes glanced at the leader's den.

Streamfur growled at Needleheart. "I never agreed to his deal. I just said he can stay here for now. I must talk to Crookedstar about it," she meowed, glaring at Needleheart. "I will visit her later." She looked around the camp.

NeedleHeart laughed at Streamfur.

"Never agreed? So you are going to leave some stranger into this camp, and let them stay. Riiight."

She laughed again.

"I thought you were loyal to your clan."

Streamfur glared at Needleheart. "I am loyal to my Clan, fox dung. And who gave you the right to question my loyalty? Is that any way to treat your deputy?" she yowled, and the whole Clan could probably hear her. She looked to Solospot, and then to the warriors' den. She looked back at Needleheart. She opened her mouth to say more, but she didn't want to start a fight so she stopped.

NeedleHeart chuckled, by her defense.

"Ha, You don't act like it, by letting a rogue, and let me note, a rogue who we don't know, stay at our camp! That isn't very smart!"

She stared at StreamFur, and yawned.

"You are boring. And I always have a right to question someone's loyalty, for anyone does."

Streamfur spat in Needleheart's face and walked to Solospot. She stood beside the tom and turned her back on Needleheart. She kept mumbling things like 'stupid fox dung' and 'Needleheart doesn't deserve to be in this Clan'. She looked at Solospot, and briefly took glances at Crookedstar's den.

NeedleHeart rose her right fore-paw, as she spat in her face. Claws were not out, but she did swipe her paw across the other she-cat's muzzle.

"Don't spat in my face!"

She growled softly, and watched her walk over toward the Medicine Cat. She heard her mumbles, and laughed.

"I don't deserve to be in the clan? Says whom? I think I do, and you should go talk to CrookedStar about that too, then."

Streamfur growled. She walked to Crookedstar's den and waited outside. "Crookedstar, Crookedstar?" she called, tilting her head, all signs of agression gone. She waited for the leaders answer, her back towards Needleheart. She ignored the she-cat and waited.

[CROOKY]

Crookedstar stepped out from her den. "who wants to speak to me?" She looked around and closed her eyes a little. "You loner and you Streamfur come explain this." She said forcefully looking at the two cats. She wouldn't have traitors to the code this close to camp this close to her kit.

As he listened to the deputy respond ('Better talk to my leader' - good for the deputy, bad for him), Needleheart took up the liberty of starting a scuffle. He watched the two argue boredly, feeling vindicated that Needleheart didn't get along with anyone.

Then the leader came.

She called to Seversk, commanded him to come. Casting a glance at Streamfur, he approached the leader slowly and carefully. "If I may?" Incase the deputy wanted to speak, or in care Crookedstar wanted him silent. And if neither of those applied.

"Ma'am, as I have explain to your deputy," he glanced warily at Streamfur, "I am interested in striking up a deal with your clan, regarding Lurkclan." He was growing tired of repeating himself, but... well, he'd do whatever was necessary.

This had better be worth it.
