Rancid sat on the end of the gorge looking over to the edge. Lurkclan was over. The thing he had invested so much of his life into was over. Fallenstar left and the other cats are left to defend for themselves amongst the many foes they had made. What kind of life was that? What was the purpose to his life he didn't know he was just a lost cause. As it seemed today there wasnt much left in the world to motivate him to live. He just lay there and thought for a long time. Was it time to join the right side? what was the right side? So many questions that flooded this cats thoughts. Thoughts of suicide and death of revival or ambitions that were greater than him himself. He had once wanted to be something so much. Was it time to go back? would the clan ever take him back? doubt it. LOST CAUSE.

SnowFeather sneaked out of some bushes, knowing rustling was made. She didn't really mind anyways. She looked at Rancid, and shook her head slightly. She had padded up to him, sitting down next to him.

"I see you found my favorite spot."

She murmured, trying to joke slightly.

Lillywhisker stretched before padding over to the group and sitting beside Snowfeather. She had stuck close to her side for some reason lately and she didn't know why.

Snowfeather blinked, and looked over at LillyWhisker. She smiled, and nodded a greeting. She looked back at Rancid, hoping for an answer.

"Oh your favorite spot?" He commented softly scooting over to make room for Snowfeather and Lillywhisker. He still didnt know what he thought or why he thought it. He was like a cat that needed to be scraped off the thunderpath.

Lillywhisker looked over the edge of the gorge, her ears twitching slightly. She tried to be solemn like the other two. But for the first time, she couldn't be. "Have you ever thought of going to join a clan that wasn't your birth clan?" She was talking more to herself, and she never truly realized she was talking out loud.

SnowFeather noticed that Rancid scooted over, but she stayed where she was. Her ears flickered in his direction.

"It is my favorite spot, but I can stay here later. It's actually a spot that I like, to think alone."

She smiled softly, and glanced over at LillyWhisker.

"Not really, it depends on the cause.."
