Violet's Den (Open)

Violet padded into an old badger den. She had been lining it for weeks with ferns and leaves to where it was as cozy as possible. It was at the northernmost part of WindClan territory. She was due to have kits soon and she didn't want anyone to bother them. She dropped some more grasses and padded back out, looking for poppy seeds and things to stow in a little hollow in the den. She hissed and turned around, hearing pawsteps behind her.

FoxFire appeared, her ears flickering about. She hissed, staring at Violet.

"Who are you, to step in WindClan territory?!"

Her fur started to raise, her tail lashing back and forth. She had her claws unsheathed already, her ears flickering about angerily.

Violet calmed a bit. "My name is Violet. I have just recently taken up a temporary residence in an old badger den a bit away from here. I wouldn't have come here if it wasn't necessary and if there wasn't a shortage of dens in the Neutral territorys." She sat down gingerly, flicking her tail. The scarred she-cat watched the Windclan Warrior.

FoxFire stared at her, her own tail swishing side to side. She knew that she probably looked like a fox, but her scent gave away that she was a cat.

"I don't care, you shouldn't be on WindClan territory!"

"Fine. Guess I'll just go starve. My kits will have to make due withwhatever rat I'll catch." Violet turned and walked away from the she-cat, back to where she had hoped to take care of her kits. She sat down and looked at if for a few moments.

FoxFire started to feel bad, her fur flat. She sighed, and looked at the ground.

"Fine. But if some other cat finds you.."

She shook her head.

Violet looked at her. "I'll make sure that's not an issue. Besides. I won't be here too long."

FoxFire's ears flickered about.

"Sure.."

She shook her head.

"I'll check on you often, if you like.. And if something happens, like you are about to.. have the kits, I'll get my Medicine Cat.."

She sighed.

A rustle was heard in the leaves, as a black, long-haired tom appeared. He seemed to have a bobtail, which was fluffy, unlike the rest of his raggy black fur. His dark green gaze fixed on Violet.

"No need, I'll make sure, if that is fine with her."

His ears flickered about slightly, as he sat down, licking a forepaw, bringing it over an ear.

Violet growled softly as she heard the rustling and then sighed whenever she seen it was a somewhat friendly cat. "Whatever. I just need to sleep."[/color] She turned and padded into her den, curling up.

Cicatrice's ears flickered back and forth, looking over at FoxFire.

Hm..

He shook his head, and sat there.

"Name's Cicatrice."

He only was going to help Violet, since she was a pregnant queen, that is the only reason, after she has kits, he was going to go on his way.


FoxFire nodded, thinking that Cicatrice looked familar, but shook her head. She turned, and padded off.

Violet looked out at him. "Your Lurkclan. I can smell it. Why do you help me anyway?" She said, still laying there. She closed her eyes, flicking her tail.

Cicatrice laughed slightly, his ears flickering back and forth, looking like they are swishing.

"Ney, Not part of LurkClan, yet. I'm a loner still, but I have been helping them."

He smiled, and looked at her.

"A pregnant queen needs help, or they could die."

He chuckled.

"Is there some benefit in helping them?" She asked, lazily flicking her tail now.

Cicatrice's ears flickered about.

"Dunno, but I'm liking what they do."

His bobtail twitched, being uncertain of telling her this, she would probably not trust him, he thought.

Violet smirked. "What is it they do?" She asked, getting up. She padded out of her den and looked at Cicatrice.
