Venus blinked in the sunlight. The three cats had found a refuge in a cave on the side of the Gorge. They had found nothing at Highstones and had turned back. Minnow was asleep and Clear had gone to do who knows what. She closed her eyes to rest.

Clear had returned, herbs in his mouth. He set the herbs down, and looked at Venus. Of course, scratches was against his flank, and shoulders.

"Hi Venus, how are you?"

"Good." she purred Getting up and rubbing her check against his flank.

Clear purred, and licked the top of her head.

"Were you bored when I was gone?"

[Deleted]

"Yes." she purred, "There is nothing to do..."

[Deleted]

Clear's tail swished side to side.

"Stay here, and try to hide of some sort. I don't know what will happen, but I am going to bring Leo here.. Don't be frightened, I will protect you at all cost."

He turned, and padded off.

Venus shuddered. "No... no no!" her lower limp trembled. "She will kill us!" she shuddered.

Clear paused, and looked over his shoulder.

"Nah, not while I'm here."

He then dashed off.

Venus gasped and rushed to Minnow. "Minnow, Clear is bringing Leo here!" she mewed. Minnow got up and blinked. "WHY?!" she screeched. "I don't know he never gave a reason!"

Clear had returned, his eyes looking in the cave like place. He hoped they had hid, or at least prepared. He paused near the entrance, and looked over his shoulder.

"You know, you won't be able to touch them with me here, right?"

Leo followed behind, feeling awkward, her sisters scent was strong. She didn't reply.

He looked around the cave, the herbs still out near the center.

"Venus, Minnow, it's okay, you can come out."

Venus and Minnow were in the corner of the cave. They were scared, was Clear mouse-brained? As Leo came in she stalked through the shadows, hidden from her sisters.

Clear yawned, and stepped towards Venus and Minnow. He made sure they were closed in, to where he would only beable to be harmed.

"Leo, you know I am not mouse-brained."

Leo didn't reply, her eyes narrowed.She slinked stealthfully and unseen through the shadows of the cave. Her little pawsteps made no sound as she judged what to do. She jumped onto a ledge just a little higher than the three cats. The ledge, still hidden in the darkness, she jumped behind Clear. She was On Minnow she gave her a bat to the head and jumped to Venus, she scratched her eyes and mouth. She knew the two cats would be on her in moments.
