SnowFeather sighed, and looked over towards Eyes.

Minnow curled back up and fell into a light sleep.

SnowFeather paced back and forth, thinking to herself. Her white tail lashed back and forth, her pacing seeming to get faster. I will not let anyone touch any of these cats, I will not allow it.

Eyes 'looked' up. "Come and sleep, Leo does not hunt at night."

SnowFeather shook her head, and paced back and forth.

"No, I need to stay up, just in case. You never know what might pop out."

Clear sat there, watching the she-cat. He was quite confused, how could you be so...cautious?

Eyes nodded and went to sleep.

Clear looked at Eyes, and padded towards her. He sighed, and laid next to her, his fur brushing against hers. Clear felt safe with SnowFeather on guard, so he closed his eyes, and drifted off.

SnowFeather smiled at them all, and padded towards the entrance. She couldn't let anyone harm these cats, and she wasn't going to let anyone.

SnowFeather sat there, watching sunlight flood through the cave. She shook her white pelt, and looked at the fellow cats. She smiled, and looked back at the entrance.

SnowFeather sighed, and mumbled.

"Take care of them, Clear."

She then dashed off.

Clear woke up, and stretched, looking over at SnowFeather, then at Eyes. He noticed that she didn't move, and that made him rather happy.

Clear blinked at what SnowFeather said.

"S-Sure.."

Eyes stirred, getting up and stretching, "Minnow?" she mewed. Minnow stirred, she got up and padded out of the den. "This way Eyes." she murmured. "Where did Snowfeather go?"

Clear looked at his paws, and took the rear. He followed them, being silent, ignoring the question.

"Where is she?!" Minnow asked, her pelt rising.

Clear paused, and looked at Minnow.

"She.. left.. and told me to protect you.. both.."

He felt bad, so he turned tail, and ran back into Highstones, going in the gap in the wall.

Minnow and Eyes turned their heads, "Clear?" Eyes mewed.

Clear stayed in the gap, going all the way in the back. He felt bad, felt guilty. He shouldn't of let Snowfeather go, at least she knew how to fight! He shook his head, and started to shake.
