The rain fell heavily as Mintsoul walked into the poppy field. If Lurkclan weren't in desperate need of poppy seeds she wouldn't be there, especially in the condition the weather was in. The gray tabby she-cat muttered to herself as she began to gather the seeds, her tail moving from side to side. She looked up slowly, admiring the fluffy gray clouds that moved over her head, bringing the water droplets down on the earth. Her nose suddenly picked up a scent and she swirled around, looking for the cat that the scent came from.

Leo bounded over. "Hello Mintsoul, How are you. Why are you collecting poppy seeds???"

"Oh hey Leo" Mintsoul purred gently at the she-cat. "We're low on poppy seeds and they are important" Mintsoul stated, sitting her collection of seeds down.

Leo looked at them uncertainly and snorted "For what?! All that is important is LurkClan!"

Mintsoul rolled her eyes. "Poppy seeds help ease pain and helps sleep, so whenever a cat is in pain all I need to do is give them a poppy seed" Mintsoul stated, adding a few more to her pile.

Leo rolled her eyes. "You sound like a Clan cat's herb colleter, Healer thingy. No use for them! Those useless cats. I'll kill everyone of them."

Mintsoul could feel the anger rising in her sharply. She was not a cat to be messed with and her temper normally skyrocketed easily. "It's called a medicine cat, Leo. Without a Medicine cat if you got a serious injury you would almost certainly die" Mintsoul hissed, narrowing her electric blue eyes at the she-cat.

Leo rolled her eyes, "Yeah, that..." Leo was uncomfortable. She'd love a fight, but not with this cat.

Mintsoul's lips curled up in a slight sneer. "So basically, without me and these herbs I collect all of you are crowfood behind your wildest imagination" she stated. Mintsoul was a Lurkclan cat at heart yes, blood thirsty and bad tempered beyond imagination, but she just wanted the rest of the clan to realize her importance as Medicine Cat.

Mintsoul snorted. "I know how to fight and hunt too, thanks though Leo" Mintsoul purred, a small twinkle in her eyes.

"I'm not as full of myself as you are, Leo" Mintsoul purred gently in a teasing tone, picking a few more poppy seeds. She suddenly spotted a mouse scurrying across the ground and pounced, pinning it with one paw and killing it quickly.
