In a corner near the gorge nestled in a small patch of grass was a beautiful short haired white she-cat with deep blue eyes called Moonshadow. Moonshadow was part of Riverclan, today there hadn't been much going on at camp and she thought she would slip away considering there was not alot to do. She lay there looking at the gorge unaware of who was about to show up.

The scarred black tom padded through the forest near the gorge. At his side was a young calico and tabby kit, a loner as well. V, as the black tom was known, and Bluejay, as his young companion was known. The little calico and tabby tom bristled his fur, crouching down and pouncing on the white she-cat. He was a stunted little tom, still pretty tiny compared to the she-cat. V sighed, padding out of the bushes to collect his young ward. I apologize for Bluejay. He's always had a wild streak in him. I blame his father. He said, chuckling roughly and picking the kit up by the scruff. Now if you're lucky I won't tell your mother or Gossamer about this. He said, dropping him roughly in the dirt.

Moonshadow layed still to be jerked by having a young kit punce at her "hello there little one" she mewed sweetly then watched another tom come over. She slightly giggled "Its ok I quite enjoy kits" she mewed patting at the young kit with her paw, claws sheathed "whats his name?" she asked.

This is Bluejay. He's a little trouble maker. His mother blames me. She says he spends too much time around me. But I just think he likes having a father figure. V explained, sitting down to chat. The little calico tom pounced on V's tail, batting at it with his paws and trying to chew on it.

"well nice to meet you Bluejay and I don't believe I know your name, mine is Moonshadow" she mewed dipping her head in greetings to them. "So has your day been what you exspected or have you just planned a nice quiet day?" she asked curiously. She had ran into loners before just not ones that would have a nice chat.

A she-cat was padding through, her tail up high. Even though she was a kit, she acted rather.. grown-up. She took a glance at BlueJay, and shook her head.

It was odd how she was pure white, then her 'mask' was cream. Then when you look at her ears, they are solid black. It was such an odd coloring.

"Was BlueJay bothing this she-cat?"

Her tail tip flicked.

Moonshadow looked up to seek another cat comming to the small group "I is quite ok I rather enjoy kits..well more any cats company"she mewed to the newcommer. Moonshadow moved her tail closer to Bluejay and started to play with the kit.

Her odd looking black ear flicked.

"Okay."

She murmured. She looked at V and smiled softly.

"How is your day, V?"

She still tried to act older, for she wanted to be more like her mother, or a grown up she-cat. She didn't want to be immature like BlueJay.

V chuckled when haughty little Gossamer padded up. No, Gossi. Be nice, dear. he said, flicking his tail back and forth. It's been an interesting day. Hadn't planned anything but it's nice and quiet anyway. He said, flickering his tail. By the way, I'm V. He said.

Bluejay spotted his sister and got a mischevious smile. He crouched down, eying herwith a smile and then pounced, batting at her ears and trying to chew on them at the same time. He giggled with an immature smile.

The little kit let out a squeak when she got pounced on. She didn't really expect it, since her focus was on V's responce and on the black she-cat.

She tried to bat BlueJay off of her, but it didn't work. All she could do was let the kit do this, except for one thing. Yell.

"BlueJay, get off of me this instant!"

Bluejay laughed, batting at her ears. As if! You aren't momma, and I'm not gonna listen to you! he said, flickering his little tail.

"Pleasure to meet you V. Are you part of ther family? there father?" she asked with curiousity. The wite she cat rolled on her side trying to get comfterable. "And yes I agree it is a nice quiet day" she purred.

Gossamer squealed, and tried to bat him off.

"I'll tell momma!"

She head-butted him, trying to roll over so he was now under.

You go ahead and tell momma! I'm not askeered! Bluejay said, wriggling out from under her and pinning her again.

V smiled. No, I'm not their father. But for all intents and purposes I might as well be. He said, flickering his tail.

The scarred she-cat padded towards the sound of scuffling kits and voices. She slipped out of the bushes and chuckled lightly, looking at her kits fighting. Part of one ear was missing and so was one eye, but she was still a beautiful she-cat nevertheless. V. Are you being a bad influence? She asked, smiling.

"So I asume then that you are there mother?" Moonshadow asked to the newcommer that had just walked in. She was a young she-cat who had been missing part of an ear and her eye. Though it didn't really make her turn away she mostly though of her as more company.
