The big black tom prowled beside the river, his electric blue eyes scanning the dark grey, choppy waters. He flicked his tail, the scar running across his eye shining dimly. The full moon loomed overhead and was reflected off the violent waters beside him. He sat down, the violent looking tom flickering his ears lightly, picking up random sounds.

The white she-cat was prowling in the undergrowth near the river, knowing that some cat was near by.

Her ears flicked, knowing when she escaped the undergrowth, her white fur would be easily seen. She peered out of the undergrowth, staring at the tom.

..Not this tom again!

She shook her head, and just walked out.

"Hello.."

Of course, she still wasn't sure if this tom would attack her or not, so she decided to be on the lookout on his actions, and let her claws slide out of her paws.

The black tom turned his head, the electric gaze sweeping over the etheral white she-cat. He purred lowly, a chuckle deep in his throat.

"Mmmm. So she returns. Hello again......."

He smiled, so sarcastically it wanted to get under your skin but it was sincere . Well. Sincere enough for him.

SnowFeather padded closer, sitting down next to him.

"Should I not be here?"

She confronted that question, for he kinda acted like it. Then again, he could be trying to scare her away as well.

"No. You can be here. I'm just trying to mess with your head a little."

He said, looking at her mischeviously.

Her ear flicked.

"It seems as if you have a problem, is all."

Her eyes narrowed a bit, and shook her head.

"So, how are you?"

Her tail tip flicked.

He said with a sad, mischevious little smile. He was trying to be friendly, to actually pay attention.

She let out a sigh, and looked up at the sky.

"Why do you try to be so mysterious?"

"I don't try, love, just am. Can't try to be me. Won't work that way. Just gotta go with the flow and work with what StarClan gives ya."

He said, flicking his tail. His electric blue eyes looked up at the moon, before drifting over to her.

SnowFeather flicked her ear.

"I guess I can understand that."

She smiled softly, glancing at him.

"So, what do I call ya?"

The black tom smiled.

SnowFeather stared at him, her left eye twitching, right ear twitching a lot as well.

"What? So, V. You didn't have to make a speech.."

She shuffled her paws, and stared at the ground, then looked back at him.

"I'm SnowFeather. Nice to meet you, V.."

Her nose wrinkled.

V smiled, looking rather like the Cheshire cat. He flicked his long black tail, the tip coming just in front of one electric blue eye.

And the 'speech' was quite necessary, my dear. Helped explain things.

She narrowed her eyes, and shook her head.

"Fine, I will rather explain a few things. No, I am not one of those clan cats, I used to be though. I got banned. Why? I tried to help spy on LurkClan, the fake clan that was trying to take our lands. I didn't tell them, cause it happened so suddenly, and our leader was rather.. mad, and banned me."

Her eyes narrowed, then shook her head.

"I am fine now, even though I miss a lot of my friends. Most of them hate me now, except for two."

Her ears flicked.

V flicked his tail back and forth, that Cheshire grin still in place.
