Her head shot up "kill him! why must I kill him!"asked Moonlight with shock that she had even sugusted to kill her kits father the one she loved! She stood up still qestioning Leo's answer and started to wonder 'if I kill him then I have no protection at all and since Leo wants me to kill him.... She wants my kits!" thought Moonlight She stared at Leo in shock and slowly backed away from her.

At the den there was a light blue gray tom with dark stripes. When he saw Moonlight he gasped.

Cicatrice slowly padded up, a kit in his jaws. His ears flickered, being quite slow. He knew Clear wouldn't follow, even though he did. His fur rose slightly, and stared at Leo.

Flora squealed on the top of her lungs.

Leo nodded and removed the thorn tendril. "Put'em in here!" she said. The other kits were sleeping in the rabbit hole. Fresh moss had been changed the day before, when she took them out to Play. The Clearing looked a lot different now. Leo had built a thick bramble and thorn wall with one small opening for the cats. Whenever the kits came out there was guard there, watching.
