The young orange and brown tom kit padded through the Poppy Fields carefully. He stuck out a bit against the snow, but blended in well with the dead grass and the shadows. He was only two moons old, his mother having died a few weeks ago and his father having abandoned his mother long before that. No siblings for him, no they were still born. He was the only kit. And now he was alone. Tiny, the young tabby was. Thin and ragged. Barely weaned from his mother before she had died. Now what would happen to him? He heard crunching snow and froze, little grey-blue eyes wide and he bolted, hiding in a snowbank and in a little hollow of dead grass.

Suddenly a small, young tom jumped in front of him, nose to nose. "Oh! Hi! I'm spots! Who're you?!?!" he pipped. His pelt was short and gold with black spots.

Ahh... It was just the little trouble-maker, Aradox. He ran off from his mother and father to travel around.

His eyes traveled side to side, staring at everything in sight. He saw pawprints. He put his paw up to the paw-print.

Same size, about.

His ears flicked a bit, the orange-brown tom kit following it.

"Who goes there!"

He bellowed.

Toulouse jumped, the little kit falling over backwards, head over heels. He popped his head up and out of the snow, a tiny little mound on his head. "I'm Toulouse." His little eyes were wide, shocked. Oh how being surprised made his little heart race.

Aradox was surprised to see Spots, his eyes narrowing.

"Why are you here!"

His hissed a bit, but shook his head.

"Whatever!"

He padded up to Toulouse, and grinned, a Chesire Grin.

"I'm Aradox."

"Nice to meet you!" Spots mewed. "This is my brother Aradox!"

The tom bonked his brother upside the head.

"I just said that, moron."

He rolled his eyes, and looked at Toulouse.

"Thulose is hard to say, can I call you something else?"

Toulouse watched them argue for a moment, a slightly amused smile breaking over his face before it disappeared again.

"Call me......."

The little tom thought for a second.

"Call me Kamikazi"

Ah, an interesting name for the young tom named Toulouse. It was a french name, but Kamikazi suited him better. It translated into Divine Wind. An interesting name for an interestingly shy kit.

"Kamikazi?" Ice piped up, bounding over to the gathered kits. He had been following his siblings' trails. "That's a funny name! My name's Ice, I'm their brother," he mewed, flicking his ears towards Spots and Aradox.

Spots stuck out his tongue, "We have a sister but she didn't come." he said, flicking his tail. "Do you have and brothers or sister?" he asked.

Kamikazi shook his head.

"Nope. But I do have a friend who might as well be my brother."

Kamikazi said, flicking his little tail.

Bluejay pounced on Kamikazi's tail, as if to accentuate the fact.

"Hey. I'm Bluejay, Kamikazi here's friend."

The little tom was the same age as Kamikazi, and looked remarkably similar, but this little tom was an odd orange, black, brown, and tan tabby. Like a calico but with stripes.

Ice smiled. "Hi, Bluejay!" he mewed, flicking his tail. "So what are you two doin' out here?"

"We're exploring." Kamikazi said, nodding. Bluejay flicked his tail, looking at Ice.
