Leo watched from a low branch of her den. It was a fox, length from the ground and she loved watching her kits play. Her tail was hanging from the tree flicking the tail tip. Snow still blew outside but the floor was dry, and the vines packed in a small heat their bodies created. It wasn't hot, but it was warmer than outside.

Spots was stalking a brittle leaf, his bottom wiggling and his whiskers twitching. "Rawr!" He squeaked.

Ice's blue eyes gleamed as his brother growled. "That's no way to come up at your opponent," he mewed, trying to sound superior, then padded closer to his brother. "What you need it to be quieter, to have the element of surprise!" The pale kit lunged at his brother playfully, batting his ears.

Spots mewed, "Ahh! Argh!" he fell on is back and flapped his paws back in forth.

Ice purred. "Gotcha!" The kit began tickling his brother's belly as best he could with his forepaws.

"S... St...STOP IT!" He squealed, Laughing uncontrollably.

"Make me!" he squeaked. He then leaped back away from his brother, landing in a fighting crouch with his butt way up in the air, whiskers twitching mischieviously.

Spots rolled to his paws and jumped at his brother pinning him down.

Ice gave a mrrow of amusement as he was knocked off his paws. "Hey! Let me up, you great lump of fur!"

Kamikazi padded through the snow outside, flicking his little tail. He was the same age as the kits inside the den, maybe a week younger, but he was still a strong little guy. His grey eyes watched the landscape cautiously, and he had to work hard to get through the snow, seeing it was almost as deep as his legs were long. He froze when he saw the den, sitting down and looking at it for a moment.

Leo's ears perked when she heard pawsteps outside, she jumped from the tree and looked outside. She saw a small kit, he looked cold. "Who are you?" she asked, her voice was not welcoming, nor threatening. It was, or sounded like, A Statement.

Kamikazi froze when he saw the she-cat. His eyes grew wide and he backed up a few paces, bolting to the shelter of a bush nearby. He burrowed himself down near the woody stem, letting the leafless branches of the bush sheild him from the snow.

Ice's eyes swerved over to the other kit, hearing the rustling of the undergrowth. He recognized the tom from a previous meeting, so he smiled. "Hey, Kamikazi!" He pushed his brother off of him and bounded over to the other kit. "It's okay, that's my Momma."

Leo's eyes softened, "Yes, Kamikazi?" She turned to Ice. "Why don't you invite your friend in Ice?" She mewed.

Kamikazi froze, staring at Ice. His eyes were wide, and he wouldn't move.
