Thorn had heard the chuckle, and rolled his eyes before carefully stepping off and around Tara, sitting by her. Did every she-cat have to come in on them? But instead of another stranger, he recognized the she-cat from before. The kill-crazy one. The memory made him sit a bit in front of Tara. "Needleheart," he growled plainly. "And what do we owe the joy of having you watch us like a hungry fox?"

She merely chuckled.

"Don't worry at all. I won't harm you little rat. I hurt too bad, and I am just not in the mood."

Her lips curved up in a soft smile, and let out another chuckle.

Thorn's ears fell back a bit. He didn't like the sound of that. "Well, if you have no other business here, I suppose it's time for you to go. I'd hate to waste your valuable time."

She smiled softly.

"To be honest, I don't plan on going anywhere. I don't have any time to waste, I have no where to go at the moment, and my leg is starting to cramp up."

She strained herself to sit down, her backleg moving awkwardly around.

He didn't feel like letting this go. "Look, Needle. I don't feel like sitting around and arguing with you all day, and nor do I wish to have to claw up your pelt. But you're not making it very easy for me. Of course, I suppose we could just leave. You couldn't follow us well with that leg of yours." He stretched out his own, as if to prove his point.

Her eyes narrowed.

"Wanna bet?"

She hissed, her teeth baring.

"It might hurt, but I can still follow you. By scent, and by speed. Sure, I'll be slowed down, but oh well!"

She strained herself into a standing position, her back leg barely touching the ground.

Thorn's claws slunk out from her paws, digging into the earth underfoot. That sounded too much like a threat for him to ignore. "Go chase your tail, Needle. I'd hate to have to shed blood over this matter, but you're making it awfully tempting," he growled, still standing in front of Tara.

She hissed, her own claws soon sliding out of her paws.

"No! I am not a lousy mutt like you!"

She hissed, her ears starting to flatten against her head. She knew she would be at a disadvantage, and that she would most likely be killed, but this was a risk she was willing to take.

I Won't Let You

Thorn flicked his tail as a signal to Tara- Wait. Then he snarled at his new opponent. "Fine, have it your way. But don't start crying when I shred your pelt for bedding." As a first move, the grey tabby dashed toward her, claws ready, and sprang up just before reaching her, testing for a reaction.

Leave Now

She didn't move. She stood there, but when he leapt up in the air, she fell down purposely, and rolled out of the way.

Of course, since she did this, it caused her leg to go in pain. She held her shout, and quickly got back up.

Tara watched the fight, her eyes widened and she pressed herself to the ground, her pelt ruffling.

You Can't

Landing where she she-cat had just been, the tom snarled and lashed out with a forepaw in her direction. "Why running away, Needle?" he growled as he attacked.

She saw him turn, seeing his fore-paw swipe towards her direction. She swiped her other fore-paw, making them collide, probably clawing up his pad as well, since his claws up hers slightly.

"Called observation, using what's near, using your instinct.."

She hissed.

Tara thought of a good idea, she backed into the bushes and hid behind one close to Needleheart, she was as silent as the wind. She narrowed her eyes to find a good chance.

On The Edge

Thorn hissed as he pulled back his forepaw, the pads slightly bleeding but not enough to be a problem. His green eyes caught a trace of Tara's pelt behind the brush directly behind Needleheart and understood. The tabby bared his fangs at Needleheart and took a step closer. "You cause such a scene. You'll regret coming here." He took another slow step, hoping to stall her just long enough.
