The black tom was sitting by the river, his eyes narrowing slightly at the water. He wasn't sure what to do anymore since he was a loner. All he knew was that he didn't want to go back to ShadowClan.

He sighed, looking away. He was upset that he left his siblings, but they wouldn't of understood. They were always mom's favorites anyways.

Tears shook his head a bit, looking up at the sky. He had one thing on his mind: Now what?

A kit came into the clearing her eyes blue and shinning and her fluffy fur calm on her shoulders as she wandered around. She came to a spot and noticed a black tom sitting. He didn't seem much older and she was near his size but still smaller. She walked up and sat beside him looking up to him "Hello I am Sparklekit but you can call me Sparkle who are you?" she asked with a smile.

The black tom turned his head slightly, taking sight on a pretty she-kit. She looked a bit pretty, but when he heard the word "kit" at the end of her name, it was no doubt that she was part of a clan, at least, used to.

"My name is Tears, I was going to be in a clan, but I left. I hated it there."

He mumbled, looking back at the river, the tip of his tail flicking.

She giggled and smiled again "I am no longer in a Clan I left with my family and am getting to know the area" she mewed and looked to the river and back to Tears "Thats why I said Sparkle I think thats what my momma is going to re-name me now that were out of a clan" she mewed giggling again.

The tom looked over his shoulder at the she-kit once more, blinking slowly.

"Why did you leave?"

He looked away once more, his tail tip twitching with irritation. He hated Giggling, he really did. It reminded him too much of ShadowClan-- as in his old family.

Sparklekit stopped giggling and looked up at him "I am not to sure...but I am willing to give things a try" she mewed her ears bent down for she knew by the way he kept twitching his tail that she was bugging him. "I-I am sorry... " she mewed her eyes saddened she hadn't meant to annoy him.

Tears sighed, and shook his head. He knew it wasn't her fault, it was his.

Which was partially true. He really didn't like his family at the moment. They wanted to ruin his life, by keeping him in ShadowClan. He wouldn't stand it.

Sparklekit moved closer and put her small white paw on his and looked up at him "Then you are close to my sister but your stories are swapped Rosekit wanted to be in a clan when momma wanted to be out, my momma is also a black cat so I guess you two also have something in common" she mewed with a light smile on her face "I guess the important thing is that your out now" she mewed.

The tom sat there, soon not clawing up the ground anymore.

"If you say so. We probably have nothing in common."

He saw a leaf flying in the air, and he instinctively crouched down. He aimed, and flexed his muscles in his hindquarters, then leaped.

He went to swat at it, but only swatted at the air right infront of it, and he fell on his face.

He groaned, getting up a bit.

"See? I'm useless, I wouldn't of been use anyways. How about I come with you, home?"

He looked away, his ears flickering with embarrassment.

Sparklekit watched and went up to him "I don't think your useless I find you as one of a kind" she mewed with a smile an nudging him "And I am sure momma wouldn't mind if you came home with me." she mewed as she started to head towards the gorge.

Tears nodded a bit, ignoring her compliment. He always ignored those, and soon padded along with her. He was walking funny, always kinda lop-sided. He was always clumsy.

Along the way, he even tripped over what seemed to be a pebble, the heat under the pelt feeling warmer by touch, but he went along.
