A New Place

Ice looked around excitedly, blue eyes wide as he looked about him. He had never been in this part of the forest before and was still wondering about what Needleheart had mentioned earlier. LurkClan. Are we going to meet them? The kit's ears were tall and pricked as he glanced from side to side, as if he expected to see a whole bunch of cats come out from the undergrowth.

NeedleHeart looked down at the kit, and laughed.

"Don't get your hopes up. The ""clan"" broke up, their leader died. It was made up of a bunch of Loners and Rogues. They tried to rule the forest, shaken our fur."

She chuckled, and tried to look around, trying to find a path, or something.

"And got back together." came a snarl from the shadows, a sleek creamy tom stepped from the bushes, "Who are you and what do you want with LurkClan?"

The she-cat stopped abruptedly, staring at the tom.

"You smell of WindClan, although it is stale, it is still there. And of ThunderClan at the same time..."

She licked her lips, this was quite interesting.

"Since Lurkclan broke up, we were going to use the devasted camp."

Her ears flickered.

Ice blinked, confused. Hadn't Needleheart just said that LurkClan was dead? He tasted the air that came from the new cat. She was right, it was like the scents of ThunderClan and WindClan, but had a tinge of age to it. Now he smelled like a loner, like Needleheart and himself.

"It isn't devastated anymore." he hissed, "And you smell of RiverClan, if you want to play the scent game I am all for it. If you plan on using the camp you will need my mate's approval." he growled.

"Then you should smell ThunderClan and WindClan on me. Mostly WindClan, since I just attacked a few cats there. Including the leader. I could of killed 'er, well, at least taken out one or two lives."

She chuckled, and took another step forward.

"We don't need anyone's approval. I will go where I please."

She concluded, feeling and smelling MiracleFur's fear.

"Don't you think LurkClan gets a claim on their own camp?" he snarled. "Or a tom gets a claim on his own nursery?"

"LurkClan is dead!"

Her tail lashed back and forth behind her.

MiracleFur was wincing. She didn't like how this was turning out. NeedleHeart was probably going to end up hurting the tom, and MiracleFur thought the tom looked familar.

"W-Why aren't you back at WindClan?!"

She snapped.

"Not anymore!" he hissed, "My mate is kin of Fallenstar and we are bringing back LurkClan." He snarled, he looked back at the Medicine cat, "Shouldn't you be in RiverClan? I have joined my new Clan and my mate. And don't think about staying in LurkClan's camp, unless you have permission."

NeedleHeart strayed away from MiracleFur, and went to move around the tom.

"We are going, I don't care if I have permission or not!"

She snarled.

"I don't belong to RiverClan no more, you piece of foxdung!"

It looked like she was about to bowl into him.

Wolfstorm walked out of the shadows. "What gives you right to stay in our camp?", she asked cooly. She sat down wrapping her tail around her paws. "As for Lurkclan it might be dead for now but it will soon thrive like any other.", she spat harshly. These cats had no business here and they could leave if they wished but if they wanted to stay they would have to get used to very noisy neighbors. As for the name Lurkclan she hated to name it attracted to many loner and rogue scum. She was prepared to change the name to Sunclan just as her mates would be changed to Swiftsun

Swiftfoot padded towards her, mewing to Miraclefur "That makes to cats here who have abandoned their clans for other cats." he said coolly. He sat beside Wolfstorm, "What do we do now? They can't stay in our camp."

NeedleHeart's gaze moved over to WolfStorm, and then back at SwiftFoot. Now she could tell why SwiftFoot smelled of ThunderClan.

"I didn't abandon my clan, I was exiled! I killed my leader!"

She snarled, her hackles raising, but they soon laid flat.
