The ally toms gaze was laced over since the fight with Tigerfang. He wanted to meet with Leafheart and waited there for her to show. He had news to share with her and needed to talk to her about something that was on his mind. He knew how life would go on as it usually did but something new had occurred to him that must be taken into consideration before to late.

Leafheart walked over to the alley tom giving him a lick on the shoulder. "Hello my dear",she purred taking a seat next to him on the gorge edge. She had not seen him since the battle and she was still a little bruised and sore from the incident. The last she had seen of the alley was when she had woken up from her fainting spell and limped home.

Skapha licked her head and purred as she called to him. He was happy to see her and glad she was here "Leafheart theres something I need to talk to you about" he mewed nervously looking to her. " First.. new cats have joined together in the alleys there being lead by a she-cat named Rachel who hopes to over power me and I won't go without a fight don't you worry but I would like for you to live with me in the alleys and lastly.." he mewed looking to the side out to the horizon of were a sunset lay then back to Leafheart "If its not to much on you... could kits come into the picture here? I want for a real family something that will last alongside me and you" he explained looking to her. He moved so they where sitting side by side and he rested his head lightly upon hers as he waited for her reply knowing this would be a lot of news to digest.

Leafheart was shocked when Skapha talked about fighting with rival alley cats and her dream came to pass again. The thought of Skapha dying was unbearable. She listened as he unloaded his news on her and she processed it quietly until he was finished and there was room for her to answer. She thought about what he wanted and how much she could give, and she knew that the topic of kits would come up sooner or later. "Skapha you know I love you dearly, and I would love to bear your kits, but I can not live here with you. I belong in Shadowclan just like, you belong in the alleys.", she mewed quietly licking his shoulder hoping he would understand. She was born and raised as a true Shadowclan cat and she would not leave it even for the love of her life. Plus she had her two other kits to care for even though they were well on their way to being adults, she would not leave them alone.

Skapha was sadden by her response but she hadn't quite been what he had hoped for but he respected her wish to stay with Shadowclan and that was fine with him but he turned to her " Could we still have our own?" he was referring to kits he wanted his bloodline to continue and knowing this would mean he could have a true family. He looked at her with soft eyes as he waited for her response " I respect your wish to stay in Shadowclan and thats fine with me" he purred to give her some reassurance as he waited quietly.

Leafheart once again paused to take in all that he had to say, waiting for him to finish. She gave a silent nod and smiled at him. She would not have made him accept Tigerfang's kits as his own and it was understandable that he wanted a family, so she made the decision that they would be able to have kits together. She remembered back to her first pregnancy, she had been so small that she had lose four kits, leaving only two to survive. It was the effects of leaf-bare and she would want to wait to have the kits in a less menacing season.

He smiled and licked her to show his appreciation for her he was happy he had found Leafheart and figured he wouldn't be dealing with Tigerfang anytime soon but now a new threat had arrived and he would deal with it in time. He sat beside her in peace looking onto the horizon enjoying the view.

Leafheart sat curled up close to him, but instead of looking down into the gorge, she was lost in her train of thought. She kept thinking back to her first and only litter, and how even though she had sworn to hate him, he had never swayed from her side. She had feared him for so long, until the birth and she finally accepted that he was not going to harm her. She purred remembering how good her life had been, but with a shock of reality she was sucked back to the present and sighed with the realization that she was back in these troubled times. She truly loved the tom beside her but he family was split apart and divided, and she could not help but crave to go back in time, and never have left in the journey, that had broken their family apart.
