Under the sun {Open}

Moonlight sat outside with her kit Sparkle.. well she wasn't really a kit anymore. Her and her siblings had grown and had they ever grown big. She knew her Time would come again when she would have to say goodbye to them again just like she had done with her first litter. Moonlight knew she was getting older.. and knew she wouldn't be around forever for every cat got older. It was the circle of life, she looked to sparkle who sat in the shade next to her.

Sparkle looked around their small little clearing, She was gonna miss the place when it was time for her to move on and to start a family of her own. Though she didn't know of a tom that could suit her for the only toms she really had met where her siblings. 'hmm.. what to do..what to do..'

Risingpaw padded over to the loner mother and her kitten with a grim look of discomfort. "What are you doing here.", she spat. She had adopted the hostility of her mother and father, and was very territorial. She gave a low subtle his eyeing the mother and her little kit.

Moonlight didn't flinch at the young kits hostility towards them she didn't really even respond. Sparkle on the other hand looked up to the kit. Sparkle seemed to be a few moons other than her. "Relaxing out in the sun and taking the chances of being in the shade on what might be the last hot day before leaf-bare, Would you like to join us?" she mewed not returning the hostility back to the young she-cat.

"No.", she hissed glaring at the other cats. She was bristling all over and she could feel rage when they talked of laying about. There were things that needed to be done for her family. "Momma says that one should never just lay about until they have hunted for their clan and done chores.", she growled lashing her tail savagely.

Sparkle looked to her and smiled "Oh.. so your a Clan cat that explains it" she mewed he tail swishing happily from side to side now understanding why she had been so hostile. {b]"Silly were not Clan cats or we'd be in a camp my momma here though was once in a Clan but she decided to leave, it just wasn't the life for her"[/b] she explained.

Her posture still formed that of a cat on edge. Her fur was sticking up in every direction."I am not an official clan cat. I am from Lurkclan.", she spat at the loners. And obviously from their lazy nature neither were born or raised in a clan, like both of her parents.

Moonlight's ears bent back at the name of the "Clan" this young one claimed she was from. She remembered Leo saying something of a Lurkclan. The black she-cat sat up and walked over to beside her daughter " So your from Lurkclan hmm? I had a friend who was from Lurkclan... at least the old Lurkclan that is" She mewed looking to her.

"Anyone from the old Lurkclan is a traitorous wench that deserves death.", she spat, remembering how her mother had told her of the old warriors of Lurkclan who had allowed her Grandfather Fallingstar be killed. She believed just about everything her mother told her feeling the love and trust of their small but growing family.

Moonlight sighed and looked down "I agree with you on that one" She layed back down looking to the kit. Sparkle joining her, Moonlight looked and smiled to her "Your not to bad, Whats your name? " she asked.

She looked curiously at the lazy loner queen. "I was given the name Risingpaw, because like the sun I will rise to lead our clan to greatness.", she smiled, gloating in the superiority of her name. She bet that not even a loner could possess a name as noble as hers.

"Hmm well I am Moonlight, it resembles how beautifully my fur shines in the light of the moons rays at night" she smiled then looked to Sparkle who had been quite quiet. The brown black striped she-cat turned to her mother and smiled then to Risingpaw she turned to "I am Sparkle because of the shinning blue in my eyes " she mewed.
