Shadows of the Alleys{Skapha and crew + Open)

Skapha walked along the edges of the two-leg fence side. Unfortunately the two-legs had forced him and his new crew to search for a new place to find food what with there overload of garbage filling the city. They had found there way into almost on the edge of a forest. Skapha smelled the air for any sent of prey and it was there. "Ok crew this seems to be the place" he mewed licking his lips.

He sat back and watched as they searched his ears pricked as hear heard sounds coming from around him. Sounds that did not come from his crew. When it came to the crew Skapha always found Birsk to be top of them all. "Birsk do you hear that?" he asked to the splotched tom.

The big tabby tom that had run into this alley cat the last time had left him alone only to see his last crew be tortured to death by him and his mate. Tigerfang sat up in the branches of a big oak tree his ears folded back against his head and his amber eyes were slits. He glared down at the group of alley cats as they hunted.

Tigerfang had left this tom to live well more Skapha had gotten away from him. Tigerfang had noticed that Skapha had been the ring leader of these cats that had come with him. He had been curious to see how this tom was and had been following him for quite some time..

Jekai flicked his tail, the black and white tom's attention very much piqued. He was strong, very strong, nearly as strong as Zek, but not quite there yet. His eyes centered on Tigerfang, his attention not to falter as of yet. Even though this tom had some major ADD issues, he was focused right now.

The splattered gray pelt of the alley cat appeared beside his leader. "Ay Skapha, I heard it." The normally more relaxed and easy going one of the band of cats was now alert and wary as his eyes scanned the area, ears twitching at every noise. He glanced to Jekai, looking to where his eyes were trained. "Seems Jekai found the source, Boss." He seemed to be the one to call Skapha that, having heard some twoleg use that word for a bigger twoleg and he seemed to like calling Skapha that. He looked to Tigerfang suspiciously. "Who are you?"

Leafheart stood in the bushes anxiously awaiting a moment to slip in and talk to Skapha. She had not seen him for moons and she had missed him. Even though she didn't know him very well she missed him. But then she smelt the familiar scent of Tigerfang as well. It seemed that everywhere she went he was there and it was starting to smell fishy. She relaxed on her haunches and just prepared herself to wait for awhile. She would wait all day if it meant she would be able to see Skapha.

Hezi came up beside the other alley cats, her blue eyes blinking simply. She could see the unfamiliar tom a little ways off but didn't do more that flick her ear at the sight. The she-cat had no knowledge of this tom, and wasn't sure how she was supposed to react. He could just be some loner or stray wandering about. So the brown tabby sat down next to Birsk and waited for the tom to reply. "We can see you, ya know. Might as well show yourself."

Kari had been following a bird aways away until she realized that her 'friends' had left her. Quickly, she ran to catch up with them. It was no problem for her actually, being the quickest and all. Suddenly, they came into view, but another cat was in her way.

From the smell of it, it was a clan cat. Her fur bristled as she prepared to stop. Her paw caught on a tree root, which she wasn't used to, and she barreled into Tigerfang.

Makara purred with delight, seeing to bounce up and down continuously.

"Here, really, here?"

She squealed. She was always over-excited, but then she paused when someone said something about hearing something. Her ears pricked, and moved around.

Then she spotted him-- A large brown tabby. Her gaze flicked, and then looked at Skapha.

"I wanna kill 'em!"

She chipped up.

Tigerfang still sat up upon his branch and unsheathed his claws to keep in place when the she-cat rolled into his side. His eyes still wide glowing ambers with thin black slits. He slowly looked at the she-cat his face unamused by her clumsiness. The big tabby tom jumped down and sat once more..."Yes friend I have returned....alone" he mewed letting his ivory fangs not go unrecognized. He remembered this tom so very well. "I could do it again you know...to every last on of them standing here....I could go get help too, you saw our work last time very clearly" he smiled..

Skapha's eyes opened wide and his claws unsheathed as he stood frozen on the ground...He had seen this tom before..but last time he was with his mate or so she seemed to be. He unfroze looking to one of his crew in the tree beside the tom "K-K-ARI! Get down now! right now!" his voice shaking, Knowing what Tigerfang would do to her in a flash. Skapha remembered the last crew for he saw them all be killed Skitcha was tortured to death by being brutally beaten getting a broken shoulder then having her throat ripped out.. Brune tried taking on the she-cat of the two ended up a wreak and his throat was gone to. Roul sat and was killed for fun...while he was left alone to run and have that picture always in his mind.

Skapha shook his head to clear his thoughts of it as his fur stood on end which was not normal.. normally Skapha could of taken on three cats at a time and be fine but most left him alone since he controlled the alley streets. But there had been something that had made him nervous about this cat...he listened to Tigerfang's words but was unable to respond. He soon found the words "But why would you do so?" he asked...

Birsk could feel his leader's tension and he growled at the big tom. What was with this cat? How could he threaten Skapha and get away with it? Normally cats wouldn't even look at the groups leader, too scared to do so. They were a pretty frightening group after all. "How can you speak that way to Skapha? Show some respect you forest cat." He said, claws unsheathing and his fur began to rise with anger.

Hezi's eyes widened in realization. This was the cat who had killed the other group of alley cats, him and that she-cat. They'd killed them all in cold blood... All that blood... Her fangs ground together in pure rage. How dare he flaunt that fact about with such pride. "Filthy murderer!" she spat, her claws sliding out into the earth to hold her back. The she-cat's hate for this horrible tom was blinding her vision with a crimson mist. She wanted to kill him, right then and there!

Leafheart's breath grew hot when she heard about Tigerfang's plot. She was as amiable a fighter as Tigerfang, but she might not look it. She didn't go around killing for fun but she was very capable of killing a cat. Her fur prickled and her claws scraped at the dirt. This was not the Tigerfang she had fallen in love with, he was the evil cat who had harmed her and now instincts were kicking into gear. She wanted to kill him, but not just because he had once threatened to harm her, he was now harming innocent cats. He had once learned to control this craving for blood but it must have resurfaced when he had fallen for Kiki. But this had gone way over the boiling point, she was getting angrier and angrier by the second, but she also felt her instincts screaming for her to stay still. She was torn between the fight or flight instinct and it was unbearable.

She finally stepped out of the bushes and walked over to Skapha. She could feel the tension between the toms in the air and she heard the fear in Skapha's voice. Why did Tigerfang have to torture innocent cats 'Just for the fun of it'. She hated to think about this alley bloodied up with torn bodies and dying cats. She shook the thought from her head and she sighed. "Hmm fun. Well why don't you go and have fun somewhere else.", she growled with quivering whiskers.

Jekai glared at Tigerfang. "I'd like to see you try, pup." He snarled, his patched tail lashing back and forth. His grey eyes were hard, the crimson flecks in them glimmering dangerously.

Tigerfang turned to Birsk "I will show not respect for such an alley cat! nor shall I show it you you" he hissed to Birsk. He then turned to Hezi " I would be careful of that sharp tung of yours it could get you into trouble". His eyes then came to rest upon Leafheart "Common princess you can't get rid of me that easily..." a deep laugh came from his throat and sounded through his clenched teeth. He turned to Jekai "trust me kit I am older than you and could easily take you down feel free to give it a go I am sure Leafheart would love to see this" He grinned at her..

Birsk could feel the desire to rip this cat to shreds growing in his veins, wishing so badly he could. But he waited for Skapha's word to attack, as always. He glanced to Jekai and Hezi with a look that said, We follow Skapha....don't rush into this!. His attention then was turned to a she-cat that padded into the clearing as well. Who was she? This other tom seemed to know her....He studied her, but he was too much on the defensive at the moment for his flirtacious side to come out. He glanced to Skapha. "Well, what are we going to do, Boss?"

Jekai snarled as the tom taunted him further. Oh how he wanted to rush in and shred this tom's throat! He was younger then Tigerfang and undoubtedly in more fights, after all the silly little clan cats strived for peace. Tigerfang may very well have been in more fights, but with the same opponents. Jekai had a wide range of skills when t came to fighting. But it was Clear that this tom had to Train under some 'warrior' in the Moonlight because he was afraid that if the sun came up and shone Golden on his fur that he would be Spotted by some other warrior he and his apprentice could die. So the tom merely bided his time, watching the other tom with his tail lashing back and forth, biting back all the comments that he could shout and snarl at this tom.
