Lavanderpaw walked calmly down towards were her father and Kiki made their den. It had been a very long time since she had seen her father. She could hardly remember what he looked like and now as she smelled his scent with Kiki's she almost didn't recognize it. She had grown quite a lot since her father had last seen her. Many cats had expected her to be small and fragile like her mother but she had grown into a large she-cat. She was getting to be almost as tall as her father, or at least as tall as she remembered. When she got to the tree she sat down and waited. She didn't want to call out, all she could do is sit and wait patiently. She had fought with her better judgment all day just to get herself to head in this trees general direction. Her brother had been here to see Tigerfang a few times here and there but Lavanderpaw had not seen him since he left Shadowclan to be with Kiki.
Kiki had just returned to the tree-den not too long ago herself. She had just placed a good sized squirrel inside the fresh-kill hole, which was actually an old owl's nest. It had been moons since an owl actually had lived there, however. The loner she-cat could still remember fighting with it's hooked talons until she had finally gotten the right grip on it's neck. It had made quite the tasty feast.
But as she pulled back, she noticed a familiar scent in the air, though she couldn't quite place it. Kiki parted her jaws to take in the scents around her. It was obviously a cat, maybe even having a resemblance to Tigerfang, in fact, but it was covered by another, much stronger, musky scent. And it seemed to be coming closer. Yellow eyes blinking, the loner turned around and peered through the overhanging curtain of willow strands to see the bigger version of a she-kit she'd seen some odd moons ago.
"Well, look who's here!" she purred hollowly. The loner crouched, then bounded down the bent truck of the willow tree until she stood a couple fox-lengths away from the Clan cat. "Little Lavenderkit. It's been some time since I saw your face around here." Truthfully, the younger she-cat reminded Kiki too much of Tigerfang's first mate- the Clan cat. Going without seeing her the last several moons had been smooth sailing. She crained her neck to give her brown chest fur a few quick licks before doing the same to her forepaw and swiping it over her right ear. "What lead your paws this way? Come to see your daddy?"

A pair of eyes glowed from the hollowed out nest under the tree. The bright amber they were glowing like a night patch of fire in the shadows. Tigerfang let a smile creep onto his muzzle, the big tom crawled out from the nest standing tall. He soon saw Lavenderkit though it seemed like she was now the size of an apprentice.
He was surprised to see his daughter show up here... last time they had gotten together it had not ended quite well. He took a seat beside Kiki "Hello Lavenderpaw" he mewed already guessing she had become and apprentice.
"Hello Daddy.", she whispered. A rush of familiarity seemed to rush over her when she saw her fathers face. Neither her nor her brother looked exactly like their mother or father, they were mixed of each, but looking into this toms eyes she knew that this was her father, gentle and sweet, caring and loving. The last time she had seen her father was when he was a traitor but now he was her Daddy like always and memories flooded through her head. Her and Spotpaw laying in the nursery with their mother, waiting for their father to come and visit. And when he did he would bring feathers and fuzzies to play with, and fresh prey to eat. He would bring smiles and laughs and good times. She came back to reality looking at the two cats. "Hello Kiki", she said slowly focusing on every word so as not to say something she thought Kiki deserved.
Kiki studied the young she-cat with a twitch of her whiskers. Lavenderpaw? Oh, yes, the Clan cats tended to change their names at different times in their life. Why was that again? Maybe it was because they just couldn't decide on what they wanted to be called. The dark loner really couldn't remember at that point in time, but that hardly mattered.
The young she-cat's tone made her eyes narrow a bit, but in amusement rather than irritation. The feeling was mutual. So cute. Kiki glanced over to her mate, now sitting beside her, and gave him a quick lick on the shoulder. If it would irritate Lavenderpaw, that wouldn't hurt the loner. It wasn't as if she would ever really hurt the apprentice- no, that wouldn't suit well with Tigerfang at all. But that still didn't mean that she and the apprentice had to be best friends, or anything.
Tigerfang kept his gaze to his daughter but let a purr of delight when Kiki licked him. "So what brings your paws this way?" he asked curiosity creeping at him. What was it she had wanted for she didn't exactly say the nicest things last meet, he sat waiting for a reply.
Lavanderpaw frowned. Perhaps things had not changed from the last time she had seen him. Maybe he didn't want even the slightest reminder of his old life. "I didn't know a cat had to have a specific reason to visit her father. After all just because you found a new she-cat doesn't change that your blood runs through my veins.", she sighed looked at her father. Had Kiki corrupted him so much that he didn't even want to see his own daughter. They had gotten along so well before the journey. They had done everything a kit could do with her father. They were as thick as thieves, and now her Daddy stayed back a few feet not even giving his only daughter a few licks in greeting. She knew that she had said some rotten stuff, but family forgave each other. She hadn't been the same without her father. She was about to be a warrior and he didn't even know. All he knew was that she was an apprentice. "When did you decide that you weren't going to be a part of my life anymore? When you moved here? When you fell in love with her? When you left Shadowclan?", she asked grimacing. He had separated himself from her entire life just because of Kiki. And now when she was coming to visit he couldn't even welcome her woth open arms, and he had to flaunt how happy he was without her. He had to make sure to squeeze lemon juice in her papercut.
Tigerfang's smile dropped "I didn't decide that.. you did.." he mewed coldly. " You made that choice of not accepting my choice in life and throw rude words, and attack Kiki... I will happily begin to be apart of your life again as my blood run through your veins when you decide to accept my choice and apologize and things can go back to the way they use too be between me and you" he mewed.
Leafheart's claws dug into the ground in frustration. She knew that she couldn't apologize for what she had done because she felt no guilt for how she behaved towards Kiki. "How will they ever be the same? You can't hunt with me you can't go to gatherings with me? You can't even be there when I receive my warrior name.", she frowned teeth clenched together. "I will apologize for the words that I said to you Tigerfang. But I will not apologize for my attempts to keep this family together.", she mewed.
he cocked his eyebrow "Actually yes we could still hunt together, I could come to see u get your name all I have to do is take a quick swim in the creek and no one would know I am there.." he mewed pointing out they could still have a relationship father, daughter bond and all it just depends if she could apologize which she did. Tigerfang nodded in acceptance to her apology figuring he would get no more from her. He padded forward pressing his muzzle to her forehead. "My little Lavenderpaw..." he mewed quietly just sitting there for a few moments and let a tear of joy slide from the corner of his eye. He was happy him and his daughter could still have that bond.
As she sat there, staying back from the father and daughter, Kiki's yellow eyes began to narrow slowly at the apprentice's every word. Of course, it was partially a mask. The loner's goal was not to be accepted by Lavenderpaw. Why should she? The she-cat lived with ShadowClan, not with Tigerfang and herself. There was nothing in her mind that was bothered by Lavenderpaw's obvious dislike. But what was bothering her was the she-cat's irritating whine over her lack of a father. Kiki had grown up without any family at all, for the most part. That hadn't made that much of a difference.
Kiki flicked her tail as she watched Tigerfang step forward to nuzzle his daughter and blinked. This whole family moment thing was beyond her comprehension, but she had no desire to be on that side of the tree, either. This was Tigerfang's life, not hers. The loner she-cat couldn't care much for Lavenderpaw, or her feelings. She knew that the apprentice had no desire for her to come into her life, either. "I didn't do what I did to break up your family. I did it for me and Tigerfang." The loner twitched her whiskers and shrugged.. "And I don't expect any apology. You feel what you feel."
Lavanderpaw growled. "Sure and isn't so convenient that our family was ripped apart for you and my father.", she hissed. She knew that she probably would never return here again. Her and Tigerfang would have to find somewhere else to spend time together away from this tree. It would be their time to be together away from Kiki and away from their tree. She couldn't stand Kiki if it wasn't obvious enough and she didn't want to ruin her small amount of time making an effort to be civil around Kiki. And to tell the truth she wasn't happy for her father. He wasn't happy for the choice he had made. She wasn't happy that her father had done just fine without her.
Tigerfang looked to Lavenderpaw "I promise me and you can spend time together to go out hunting every now and then, and I will see you get your name, and it will be our time" he mewed hoping it would make her feel better about the visit. He sat back between the two she-cats and nodded to Lavenderpaw to show he would keep his promise. Though today would not be the one of the days he could hunt he looked to Kiki and to her as words were tossed back and forth but nothing he couldn't really expect now "Lavenderpaw I can hunt with you at sunhigh tomorrow" he meowed then continued "I will meet you on the edge of Shadowclan territory." he mewed.
"Be sure not to cross the border. You are my father but my clan will come first.", she chuckled. She turned back to camp and trotted off towards camp. She hadn't expected things to go so well in her favor and now she had a grin on her face that just screamed that she was plotting something.
Kiki kept her eyes on the little she-cat's pelt as she padded away from the willow tree, dislike and unease making a foul combination in her belly. Why come all the way from ShadowClan territory just to stay for a heartbeat? Wouldn't she have rather made time to be with Tigerfang now rather than late? The black she-cat twitched her whiskers, then padded forward to stand next to Tigerfang. "You must still miss your family back in ShadowClan, don't you," she mewed slowly, not really asking a question. She guessed that Tigerfang wouldn't appreciate her saying something bad or suspicious about his daughter, so she needed a way around.
