Songs In My Head

The black she-cat had led the way to the gorge, although she didn't exactly know where to go from there. Tigerfang knew where this isolated little place was, as it was he who had accompanied her here. And, much to her surprise, she was growing accustomed to it. It was like how she was with Mika, only somehow different.

Kiki stopped, overlooking the gorge, and thinking about distant memories linking back to this place. Of death, and blood that stained the bottom of the rocky plunge. She smiled coldly, then looked over her shoulder to the ShadowClan warrior. "So, now where to?"

Tigerfang nodded "Just up this path" he mewed pointing to a small path that was hidden behind bushes that lead up a hill. He walked in the direction of the path. It lead up to a small clearing like he said that was surrounded by rocks and bushes but yet it had a clear view of the sky and soft grass to lay on. Tigerfang flopped on the ground and rolled on his back " Well this is it quite the place hu?" he mewed.

Kiki followed after him with a light laugh. "It sure is! I never even knew this place existed." The loner padded over the soft green grass, looking about the rocks and bushes that cut the clearing off from the rest of the world. The sky was the only thing outside it, so it seemed. She drew closer to where the warrior lay and took her own place in the greenery, on her side. "It's very nice here."

The stars had fully come out and where shinning bright up in the sky "There so beautiful up in the sky" he mewed. He was relaxed and calm and into a happy state..

Questioning

The loner's wide eyes scanned the sky, and she genuinely smiled. "Yeah... But they mean something to you, I'm guessing. I've heard you Clan cats talk about StarClan, living up there. Sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me." Kiki glanced over to him, a bit curious but also demeaning. "You really think those stars are dead cats?"

Tigerfang turned his head to her "Its a possibility but no one can tell for sure..Before my parents left they would tell us stories about my grandparents boy did they go on adventures... like the wolf they once ran into while they were traveling told them about the consolation in the sky of the great wolf Lupus and how they all meet in a cave and pass on together...then there is the bears story they have Ursalana the bear that stays in one spot while the others move around her.. she is there to guide them" he mewed as he pointed to the wolf constellation then to the brightest star in the sky Ursalana as it was known to bears.

Stories of the Night

Kiki listened with interest, but doubted the actuality of it all. Wolves? Animals in the sky? But she paid attention to it all the same, because Tigerfang made it so entertaining a tale. The loner looked up to the stars, trying to make out the different creatures the tabby pointed to. "Oh, I see it, that really bright one up there." She looked to the side of it, trying to indicate it with her paw as the Clan cat had. "And that's the wolf, right? I think I can see it. You sure do know a lot about this kind of stuff, about your family, too. I didn't stick around long enough to get to know my own parents, really. Their two-legs were going to give me away to others, anyway."

Tigerfang nodded yes thats the one" he mewed then watched as she pointed to ursalana "and yes thats Lupus, we got told about our grandparents travels before well you know the rest.." he mewed looking to her " I don't know that much about them I only knew mainly about stories of my grandparents" he sighed.

She looked back to him from the starry skies, her yellow eyes glowing in the darkness where the starlight didn't reach. "But it's a good story all the same. And at least you know a bit of your interesting lineage. My family was just a bunch of worthless kittypets." Her whiskers twitched unhappily, but shrugged it off. "Or maybe you wouldn't have even liked your grandparents. Maybe they would have been like your parents and left."

Tigerfang looked back up to the sky..."maybe.." he whispered. He looked back up to the sky wondering what might happen now. He was still wondering what he would tell leafheart if she ever returned. Tigerfang didn't know what it was but he liked kiki she and him seem to have quite a bit in common..

Believe In Futures

At his tone, Kiki looked at the tom quizzically. He sounded down. And that was an emotion the loner couldn't stand. In her mind, there was no point to being sad. If one felt that way they should be doing something to get rid of it. She wasn't annoyed by the emotion, she just didn't like it on any cat. "What are you thinking about?" she asked him. "You seem distracted."

Tigerfang turned to her "I am curious to if Leafheart will ever come back but I doubt it so I am happy to have some one to talk to some one who understands me a bit better than Leafheart ever really did.."he mewed. "She never understood the fact of why I killed... we never even did stuff like this lay out under the stars..we where always taking care of Lavenderkit and Spotkit but there coming into apprenticeship soon"he mewed.

Not A Crime

Kiki blinked sympathetically. She knew she couldn't understand how the tom was feeling, but she could imagine. "I'm sorry. You must miss her a lot. But if you ever need some cat to talk to," she placed her paw on his in a sign of comfort, "you can always come find me." The loner felt that they had a good deal in common, and it was nice talking to him like this. It was easy. She smiled softly. "I think I'm pretty good at understanding you, where you're coming from with the killing and all."

Tigerfang lightly smiled "Thank you Kiki I shall keep that in mind and when I get the chance I defiantly will, If you don't mind I would like to call you a friend of mine if thats ok and with Leafheart I must get over her and move on and continue with my life and I am happy to of found you to talk to" he explained happily. Tigerfang looked to Kiki "thanks for being someone I can talk to " he mewed.

OOC: Yeah, I already saw what's been going on over there. :/ Didn't know this was going to happen. Lets wrap up this thread and start a current one.

Kiki found herself giving a little purr. That made two friends, two more than she thought she'd ever have. Maybe some cats were too good to kill. "No problem. It's nice talking to you." The black she-cat glanced up at the sky. Already the moon was falling back toward the earth. Her smile faltered. Tigerfang had a life and kit away from here, back in that ShadowClan camp. And she was starting to realize that she didn't want him to go.

The black loner pulled her paw back and rose into a sitting position. "Dawn's coming soon. You better head back to ShadowClan before some cat misses you." Her tones fell flat as she spoke. She knew he couldn't stay, and she couldn't go. But she tried to smile anyway.
