This she-cat felt utterly disappointed. Okay, not disappointed, but she did feel awful. She wanted to go back to RiverClan, but she knew she couldn't. She wasn't fit to be a warrior. Not only that, RavenStone and HawkTalon were there.x
SnowFeather knew she wouldn't be able to take the pain anymore, she knew that. She knew that she couldn't choose. There was no way she could. I mean, honestly.
The only thing that she could do was run away. Run away and to a place that will pain her even more. Yet, if she went to the place HawkTalon took her, it would be even worse. The only thing that she could think of was this place, due to knowing it, and due to loving it.
So, now, she was sleeping in her little nest, with another nightmare that seems to appear each moment she closes her eyes. It goes a little bit like this::
Everything was really quiet. It wasn't bright out, it was rather dark. She seemed to be sitting in the middle of fourtrees, with the large oaks towering over her.
Why was she here? She didn't exactly remember. All she knew was that she felt like she was waiting for something. But what or rather, who?
She slowly looked around, while the owls coo'd and the mice scuttled along the grassy area. It was rather scaring her, for those were the sounds that haunted her dearly. Something bad happens each time she heard it.
SnowFeather suddenly started to run away, something chasing her. She didn't know what. She couldn't even control herself. The thing that really bugged her was that she didn't know where she was going nor what she was running from.
All she could see in front of her was pure blackness and what seemed to be a darker shadow. It towered over her. She now knew what she was running from.
She was running from herself and her problems. She was running from her greatest fear.
She suddenly made an abrupt stop, but that didn't seem to stop the thing or rather, things behind her. Before she knew it, she was falling down a large crack in the earth.
She suddenly woke up, shaking like a scared kit in her nest. She slowly stood up, only to fall down on the ground. She tried to get up once more, but it barely kept her up.
She walked towards the little puddle that was near all the empty nests, and crouched down to get a little lick. Then she swiped the water with her right fore-paw, only to have the water splash in her face.
Snowfeather shook her head side to side, being quite confused. She rose once more, feeling alone. She needed to get out. She needed to hunt and eat. She hasn't eaten in three days straight.
She wheezed a bit while she slowly stalked out of the tunnel, first making sure the coast was clear before going out completely. She stopped right at the entrance though, feeling as if someone was there watching her every move.
She felt afraid. She felt as if her nightmare was about to unfold and come in reality. Snowfeather didn't know what to do at that moment, only to stand there, and wait.
