Amortentia felt herself being grabbed by the scruff and struggled to stay up under the added weight. She made it to the opposite bank, her eyes looking back to the cats coming. Her eyes widened as she saw the fire flare up and get more aggressive. What was this world coming to?

Thorn wasn't quick enough to be much help to the falling she-cats, but once they were on the opposite bank, the grey tabby crouched down and tried to nudge Amortentia to her paws with his nose. "Come on, miss. You can't stop to rest yet." The loner glanced nervously back at the flames. Without a doubt, they were getting closer. The heat was flooding the air around them, pulsing at his darkly colored pelt.

Amortentia nodded, struggling back up. She flicked her tail, the pain getting to her a little bit. Well, more than a little bit. But feeling the heat from the flames gave her a will to live, her gaze turning to the cats that were making their way across still.
