Crookedstar nodded at all the cats. "Will no other cat join? Alright then we'll be off. And I'll expect you traitorous lot out of the clan territory by the time I return." She yowled before leaving the entrance to camp. Quickly she headed for Thunderclan territory.

Leopardclaw sat there. He wasn't prepared to fight against Thunderclan, but he didn't want to leave his clan or his kits. His daughters wouldn't be fighting against warriors. He snagged Stripedpaw while she was in range and blocked her from joining the suicide mission. He would not lose his daughter even though he had lost his mate to the duties of her position in the clan. His dreams of having more kits died with Crookedstar. He sighed and picked up his daughter and walked out of the camp. If he had to leave his daughter would come with him.

Fireleaf turned to go with Crookedstar. She looked over her shoulder at her mate, a silver tear fell down her cheek. She and Leopardclaw had grown apart since she became deputy, her heart ached and her tail fell low dragging in the dust. But she looked away, her paws following Crookedstar, following her destany.

Hawktalon sighed, rubbing his cheek back against hers. "Okay...just be careful. And if you need help, just call my name alright?" He said, looking to her and intertwining his tail with hers. Then he walked beside her as they started out, his eyes clouded with thoughtfulness.

She let out a soft purr, and nodded.

"I know, Hawktalon. That goes with you too."

She intertwined her tail with his as well, walking beside him, not moving away at all.
