Mousefur screeched as she was knocked down. She felt the blood ooze from her flank. She wriggled but couldn't get free from the toms grasp. She looked around for some way of escape.

Seeing the blood flow from the wound excited Froststorm all the more. A horrible bloodlust was upon him now, blinding his vision. This was not longer the quiet cat at the RiverClan meetings. This was a new cat, one that had been hiding under the surface. Caterwauling, he sank his teeth into the she-cats scruff.

Mousefur's screech was cut short. She gagged and then coughed up blood. She was losing to much blood and was weak. She wasn't sure how much longer she could last.

Riddlehawk heard Froststorm's words and hissed loudly. striking out at Stormstrike angrilly. He snarled, feeling the claws in his pelt. He struck Stormstrike across the face with his ruined paw. He lurched away from Stormstrike, barreling into Froststorm and latching on with his teeth again, shaking his head harder than before.

Dappledleaf yelped as Moonshine bit down on her ear, staining the dirt around the pair of she-cats crimson. She hissed, scratching at the she-cats face.

Fireleaf shot through the undergrowlth and into the river, fleeing for her territory.

Mousefur went unconscious and fell limp. All she could do was feel the pain as claws scratched her to pieces. She couldn't talk or express the pain all she could do was endure it till death took her.

Bluewillow saw Mousefur and ran for her. She slashed at Frostsorm, "Get off her!"

Dappledleaf hissed, breaking free from the fight. Moonshine nipped at her tail before running over to Mousefur. Riddlehawk just finish him! Moonshine yowled at him, licking Mousefur's injuries while batting at any cat who got too close. She knew how hard it was to loose a loved one.

Froststorm hissed, dropping the she-cat to the ground as claws raked the side of his face. "More prey," he growled, then slashed at the she-cat in return. All thoughts of Mousefur left him, as he focused on his new target.

Bluewillow ducked and jumped onto Froststorm aiming for the neck and face.

Riddlehawk latched onto Froststorm again, batting at his head again with his ruined paw. He shook his head like a dog again, intent on either breaking the tom's neck or making him run.

Bluewillow stopped attacking Froststorm and knelt to Mousefur, "I need to get you back to camp.." she mewed.

More pain. Froststorm was beginning to feel numb all over, his vision blurring around him. But as it happened, the bloodlust slowly drained from his mind. The blood roaring in his ears faded into nothing, and the last thing he felt was falling to the ground before eveything went black.

Bluewillow looked to Riddlehawk, "We need to get her back in camp!" she said. "Dappledfrost must see to her soon or..."

Tanglestar charged over to Mousefur. She sat up and looked around the battlefield. "STOP!!!!! You Riverclan cats may have this evil land. Thunderclan will not have it for it has now plagued her clan with injury and hopefully not death." She walked up the slope and headed back to camp. My warriors have failed me. My deputy and many of my warriors ran at the face of battle. They have disgraced their clan. "Today we will celebrate in the honor of Mousefur, Bluewillow, and Riddlehawk who never gave up in battle", she said hanging her head in disgrace at her unloyal warriors safe at camp.
