Riddlehawk dropped Froststorm when he went limp. Whether he had died or simply passed out he didn't care. He ran back over to Mousefur, licking between her ears. He growled, puffed up and he licked at her wounds.

Moonshine backed up whenever Riddlehawk got finished with Froststorm. No way was she going to tick HIM off. She looked at Bluewillow. Where's Dappledfrost? she asked, her silver-blue eyes anxious.

Bluewillow shrugged then her eyes glowed at her praise, but then she realized something was wrong. "Where is Goldenfur?"

bic: Froststorm continued to lay at the battle scene, blood oozing from his body. He had no feeling left, and his thoughts were growing quieter. And image of the apprentice and Mousefur appeared in his mind. The tom wasn't sure if he regretting what he had done. He didn't care to think. Am I dying? he wondered.

When Fireleaf heard that the battle had ended she looked back, she saw Froststorm and gasped. She ran for him, "What happened?" she said to herself. "Crookedstar! I think Froststorm is..."

Moonshine shoook her head. I don't know. she said, darting away towards where she thought the Medicine cat would be.

Riddlehawk sat beside his mate, watching as the quick little she-cat darted away.

Dappledfrost came careering into the battlezone, her fur bristling with shock as the stench of blood reached her. A RiverClan tom lay motionless nearby, but Mousefur- a couple more tail-lengths away- was most important to ThunderClan. She raced over to the she-cat and stood next to Riddlehawk. Mousefur was covered with wounds, and bleeding heavily. But she was still breathing, and at that moment it was all that mattered. She looked up at Riddlehawk.

"She'll live, as long as I treat the wounds. Do you think that you could help me carry her back to my den? All my supplies are there." The medicine cat cursed herself for not bringing them with her, but she had been fearing the worst.

Riddlehawk nodded briskly. I'll help you carry her. he said, his gold eyes filled with worry.

"Good," she mewed. "Now be careful..." The medicine cat used her head as best she could to force Mousefur's body upright against Riddlehawk, then onto the tom's back. Dappledfrost slid under the other end so that both cats were then supporting the warrior's weight. "Let's go."

Goldenfur camp up to Bluewllow, "I'm so sorry! I should have stayed and fought! We Lost!" she wailed, leaning on Bluewillow. Bluewillow nodded and walked with Goldenfur leaning on her.

Crookedstar started the yowl of victory. All of Thunderclan and the clans had to know of their victory before they could go home.

Fireleaf looked to Crookedstar, "Crookedstar!!!" she yowled. "Froststorm is... I think hes dying!"

Riddlehawk supported most of his mate's weight. He sent Crookedstar a death glare. He silently made a vow. He'd be the one to get rid of her last life. She'd been the one to lead the attack and it was HER fault Mousefur was injured.

Crookedstar hissed at the insolent warrior. "Kittypet? Whos teh one running with her tail between her legs again?" He jeered at the cat when she heard her name called she turned to the cat. "Get him to the medicine cat immediatly!" She ordered the cat. Froststorm was one of her best warriors it would be a great loss to lose him.
